You learn from the soil or get frustrated with it and throw it out lol....No i take as a good thing. Anything that makes me question why I do is a good thing.
if you are using super soilIll feed either RO plus AgSil plus NFTG or water with RO plus AgSil plus MammothP
if you are using super soil
you arent supposed to be feeding them anything
you also arent supposed to be using ro water
throw some tap water in a bucket and bubble it for 24 hours o kill the chlorine and water
hell you really dont even have to do that
feed the soil tea at least once a week
ewc tea which is easy
1 cup ewc and 2 tbs molasses in 5 gal water and bubble that for 24 hours
and feed
super soil is there to be completely organic
no feeding any type of nutrients
sugar to feed microbes but nothing else
could be anythingOk, makes sense. The MammothP and silica (which i didn't add to the soil ) should be fine then, right? I hear you on drop the NFTG.
I'm brewing a tea right meow actually just molasses, ewc and ogbiowar root/Foliar.
What do you think is causing the drooping?
One is coast of Maine stonington blend.could be anything
did you make the soil yourself
if so ....how long did you let it cook for?
mammoth p should be fine but I wouldnt do the silica
the Tea should be good
if you are feeding biowar and ewc
you dont need mammoth p
again remember
no ro water either
when I made my super soil I used my tapOne is coast of Maine stonington blend.
The other I made I can't remember how long but I had some activity santas beard et al. Prior to potting with it. It was hp pro, perlite, insect frass, alfalfa, crab, ewc, forest humus, lime I think that's it.
Why not the silica out of curiosity? The benefits seem to be positive it costs essentially nothing and makes me feel warm and fuzzy :)
And my tap is pretty high almost 1ec ... is that ok?
Yes it does shoot the pH up quite a bit. So bubbled tap water that's it? I'll try that out.when I made my super soil I used my tap
800ppm's
I use that tap for my outdoor as well
the reason why I say no silica is it changes the ph
it is strong
super soil is meant to be feed pure water and nothing else
but experiment and see what happens
