okay, i am getting ready to take about 150 clones and plan on doing some side by sides...i have RE, NAA, IAA, IBA (powder, water soluble salts, gel), I am heading to the hydro store now, so if anyone wants to nominate an after rooting product to compare to RE (i never used RE to root, just for imm after rooting) let me know within the next 2 hours...I was going to probably get Zone to do the RE side by side and of course a control group.

Hey Click, thanks for doing this! Could you please pickup Rapid Star to side-by-side compare with RE? They claim comparable results at about a 1/3 of the price, so I am really curious. If you're feeling really ambitious, pick up some Rhizotonic and let us know what works best out of the three!

Yes, but I haven't been able to determine that I can culture anything that ISN'T already floating around in the air. In other words, I did a control of plain water alongside a batch Tx'd with RE, and both appeared the same.

I think it's less likely that your friend is growing E. coli, or at least any strain that's dangerous. I don't know that they're a benthic organism, but the pebbles are required to culture any benthic bacteria/microbes. For instance, Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter, both required in a healthy aquatic system to convert first NH3/4 into NO2 and then convert the NO2 into NO3 (oxidization of NH3/4 is what's happening) must have a surface to attach to, cannot be cultured without surfaces.

I was being 'feces'cious about the e coli...lol...

Just saying the same thing....he doesn't really know what he is growing I dont imagine.

Whats the difference if I have heavy corded roots or my fine fuzz (aero) if I get 2.5 lb/plant? Root porn is nice but really all I care about is what I harvest. JK
And I have constantly dingy reddish/brown roots

still working on it

Hey it is going to be a few days...i am having some mom trouble, not bad I think it is a P deficiency, which is kind of troubling as I recently went to using teas and organic ferts..

I do not want to do this if my moms are not 100%...I am getting some yellowing and two of my moms are giving off three bladed and single bladed leaves....kind of weird because I have had some phenomenal results lately which included HUGE leaves, and some were even 11 blades...

anyway I purchased RStart, RE, and some others...will update soon when moms look better.

I'v always been a fan of RE since it first came out... believed what was told to me by the company about it having bacterium in suspension. Whatever.

Just cut back the entire library again... went all in with it, no mums on back up. Anyway, also got a little lazy over the ordeal... and things started to get concerning... went back to the damn RE bottle... and they look better, rounded the corner, gonna make it.

For whatever fucked up reason, and it bothers me to have to say, this shit works. My cuts look a lot better now. And fuck H&G... though this product... lol

I am having some Mother trouble right now..some kind of weirdness was going on, but suffice it to say the ones I kept were all in not too good overall health. I got some stuff called Hormex while I was at the store buying a bunch of diff products to do some side by sides, it has NAA and IBA and B1. I have seen, IMO, an as good if not more rapid recovery than the two Moms I had on Thrive and RE. I just wonder if my original excitement over RE was in some part do to marketing and contagious excitement from hearing of other people singing the praises of RE. As i gain experience and knowledge of how to amp up my roots, I am finding that there is more than one way to skin a cat, and more importantly skinning that cat doesn't have to cost $77 bucks. Meow.

Just to be clear, I am definitely not saying the stuff is worthless, just not worth $77/250ml
