I bought a moisture meter for wood and/or buildings from Lowes. Made by General. $40. I'm still a beginner grower on my 3rd harvest so I am questioning my drying times before putting into grove bags. Which I love by the way. Here in Franklin county , Va. We use our mason jars for "other things" !!! Anyway, I just measured some duds. Ready to chop, but drying, drooping leaves (trying the deny water for this run) a nice bud measures 22-24%. A plant hanging at 60/60 for 1 wk. Is at 26 % and a branch hanging for 2 wks. Is at 19%. So is 19% about right for putting into bags ? The feel test (crispy on outside, marsh mellow inside) is hard to judge for us rookies. Guess I could try em in a bag with a rh meter. Whaddaya think ? Or am I just overthinking it ?
