I grow in my greenhouse alongside my veggies but in a separate pot. I got this Tutti Fruittie strain from a friend earlier this year and has been growing well until a couple weeks ago when the growing slowed down. I had been feeding it with a bloom fertilizer weekly but changed to a flower hardener called Overdrive last week. I noticed it stopped growing altogether and today it has black spots on the stem in a couple places, some leaves are turning brown while others are looking waxy and curling up. I dowsed it with just clean water this morning thinking I could flush some of whatever is ailing it out. My soil meter shows good fertilizer level and a ph of 7.
Thanks for any suggestions...

if advanced nutrients you used overdrive like 5 weeks too early. Idk what kind of stimulants are in there but the phosphorous levels are pretty hight. I would feed half strength bloom nutes now for a little bit .

sceptical but looks like nutrient lock from PH swing. I had that happen in some soil recently, and I pulled the whole plant out of its pot and set it in a large tote of water overnight. That was pH corrected then slowly drained the tote as to not disturb the root ball too much. Then I repotted it in a larger pot, started watering with pH six water and it turned around.

how hot does it get in there?
Get up to about 95-100 degrees if the sun is out but the vents open automatically to cool it off. Being in NH, it has been a cooler than normal summer and fall so far.

Being in NH, we are getting to end of our growing season. Day light time has dropped quite a bit and is much cooler at night, in the 50's...the plant started flowering about a month ago.

Thanks, I never heard of soaking the root ball but sounds like a good plan. I did douse it with fresh water the last two days. Problem with my spring water is the PH is naturally 7. I could add some lemon juice to drop it to 6PH. Any other ideas?

What I meant was that looks like week 3-4 on a 10 week strain and you should not be using overdrive till at least week 7-8ish so way to early for a product that starts the flowering cycle all over again (similar description to shooting powder) this is supposed to be used during the final bulking phase .your plant looks like the stretch ended recently .

I was thinking I was about 4-5 weeks into the flowering phase. I'll flush the roots with acidic water and hopefully it turns around. Thanks for everyone's feedback. I'll post a pic in a couple weeks to see how I make out...

This strain is called fruit snacks. How do you determine how long the strain is? I was thinking if I trimmed the buds off when they are ripe, can I keep the plant growing through another cycle? I also have some clones I trimmed off that are growing nicely. If I trim the buds off, will they grow into a mature plant?

I start Overdrive around day 30 of flower for 9 week strains
Try doing something higher in potassium a couple more weeks and see how you like the result. I don’t know your methods but it seems to be you are using the overdrive in an unorthodox manor compared to how the company advanced nutrients directs its customers how to use it , we are talking about the same product correct?

Yeah advanced nutrients overdrive, 1-5-4 npk.
Directions call for using it the last 1-2 weeks before flush but I like to switch over earlier as I mentioned

After soaking the root ball in a solution of vinegar and water, the soil meter is still reading 7.0 ph while the fertility was reading 2.2 or so.
Great. Now post a picture of the actual meter itself please. If it's what I think it is, that may be part of your problem.

I wouldn't trust that meter. Those are notoriously unreliable. Apera and Blue Lab both make excellent ph/ec meters.
Every word of this. Those meters have been responsible for ruining more grows than I can count. They're pretty much worthless. Pick it up and throw it in the trash. For the money, Apera has a great ph/EC meter, and Blue Lab is tops but costs more. My guess is that's screwing your plant up with inaccurate readings.

Are you using any base or just the overdrive?
Also, what are you growing in potting soil mix?
