Dig the alliteration? Then we should get along fine. I've been a regular at invalid.com for the last 15 years. I joined because I wanted to gtfo of the corporate world, and grow cannabis for a living. Which I ended up doing quite successfully. I turned the office of my small apartment into my grow room. It seemed tailor made for growing, with a locking door and 2 windows in 6.5ftx8ftx10ft room. I started off in RDWC, but after a couple of years I switched to a sog of four 3x2 trays under 1600w of HPS in 2 air-cooled magnum XXL reflectors. Also had a small DYI two shelf mom tent in a corner with an aero cloner underneath. I harvested 11 ounces every 2 weeks, and had the best weed around before legalization. I sold it all to a small collective of friends, musicians and DJs for $350-$480 an ounce. I made about 100k per year off that little room. I'm also a professional musician. I bought a lot of cool toys and instruments, set up a home studio with great gear, and took some nice trips, but I also managed to save a nice cash nest egg. I got tired of life in the big city, so I decided to purchase a nice house outright for cash right across the line of a neighboring state, where the property and cost of living are much more affordable. Since the majority of my gigs are in said big city, I had to stay close in order to drive there and back easily. Growing is illegal in my current state, just as it was in the big city until recently, so I switched from a SOG in pots of media to a flowering area of 3 aero/nft systems I built myself. I can no longer afford to throw out hot trash here (root balls of rockwool, perlite, vermiculite), so having no grow media is better. I simply burn the dried plant material in the fire pit at night. Since prices took a shit, I now sell ounces for anywhere between $80-$180. Fortunately, my music business grew to the point where it pays all the bills. So I only work a couple days per week, usually on the weekends. Kinda semi-retired. Since the demise of rollitup, I'm just looking for a new place to hang out and interact with cool peeps from time to time. TLDR, I know. Thanks for reading, look forward to meeting you guys...
