yeah i might look into something a bit higher-end later but as of now half the grow will be outside, so i hope the sun will be plenty. what is the lifespan on a gavita?

Once you take them outside, they need to stay in the natural light. Meaning do not take them outside and bring them back in under the LED's. That can hermie the plant.
Almost all of the LED's have the same warranty 50,000 hours. So like 11.41 years of continuous 12/12 use.
