Recirc. DWC - Beneficial Bacteria??

So, I am about to endeavor in recirculating DWC. I have ran DWC in small batches beforehand, but none of which were recirculating. I am putting the final touches on a fresh clean room and need some advice.

I want to add beneficial bacterias!!!!!!!! To contain a bacteria colony in recirculating conditions I was planning on shoving a piece of sea sponge into each bucket.

My question is will this clog my pumps up? OR is this just a bad idea in whole with Recirc. DWC?

I would put your sponge or you can get some bio-balls. I would then put it in a paint strainer bag. I would the put this where your water returning will run through it. I have mine where the water falls into my rez, aerating the herd. Once your roots have them and the P is below 60 ppm it is not that difficult to keep them working. JK
