What would be the pros/cons to organic vs coco? Isn't organic more so having to mix/make the super soil combination vs using the nutrients throughout the various stages?why not just grow organically? Save you’re self the money and time.
You can still use coco coir as a base organically. It’s likely you’ll get even more explosive growth compared to strictly peat based. Even mixing the two. Like a 2/3 peat 1/3 coco coir. All that nutrient this week then the next is trig bro. What would be the pros/cons to organic vs coco? As a gee-whiz, I am using fabric pots with auto waterers figured coco would be the better way to go with those especially since I'm doing indoor.
Envy looks like Master Blend for more $.I buy bricks for coco. I used to use Green Texan for my shrooms but can't find them on Amazon any more. Then I switched to Coco Tech because it was $10/ brick then they quit selling. Next Coco Bliss (it's my #2) with Back to the Roots my #1 now.
BTR coco has always given me more than the 10lbs they list. Other brands are either at 10lbs or less. Mother earth has always had too much sand in it (haven't tried them in a couple years). I always wash, but don't bother buffering any more. My plant's never had any issues without buffering.
If you get bricks, get a large bin and break it apart with a screw driver in the tub. Go along the grain and it shreds easily. Stab and pry.
Nutes, I used to use Mega Crop 1 part, but my last three bags had rock hard clumps that needed a hammer to break up. Switched to Jacks using Peat_Phreaks 1.25:1 ratio of A and CalNit (no epsom) and worked out great. Switched to Envy which is just like Jacks with less Mg and S so I have to add about .32g of Epsom to each g of Envy to make it almost exact. I run it at 1.33:1 of A and 15.5 CalNit and .2g of Sweet Candy. Last 2 weeks of flower I drop the N 1/3 and increase the SC to .5.
There's the KISS using Maxibloom only as a 1 part. Never tried it myself but considered before switching to Jacks/Envy.
Having great results with Envy so far, but Jack's was just as good. Envy is way cheaper than Jacks in the small bag. If you get the big bag then Envy and Jacks are equal. I liked not having to deal with epsom using Jacks as it saved me 126 seconds of not having to weigh the third nute, lol.
I grow in coco hempy buckets with hydroton in the res.
I have seen a cannabis recipe on the web but never tried it.
Go with furureharvest.Com, u will be satisfied, big bloom newts 0-33-49I'm torn between a few brands and wanted to inquire if anyone has recommendations/inputs on them or better yet suggestions.
First time home grower so bear with me.
I've got the 70/30 Coco/Perlite brands down to either Fox Farms Cultivation Nation and Mother Natures 70/30 mix.
Nutrients I've been looking at Advanced Nutrients and Future Harvest but also thought of Fox Farms with the Big Bloom/Grow Big/Tiger Bloom and Bushdoctor Cal Mag combo.
My biggest concern is dilution to get perfect ratios on NPK so trying to find something as close to all in one as I can.
Greatly appreciated on the input and open to any questions, guidance and help!
I was looking at Holland too. What's been your experience with its use?Go with furureharvest.Com, u will be satisfied, big bloom newts 0-33-49
I suggest Holland secret futureharvest.com, or Gaia green.I'm torn between a few brands and wanted to inquire if anyone has recommendations/inputs on them or better yet suggestions.

Im trying that type of grow in 3 of my pots currently. And a hot soil coco potting mix mix in 3 others. You can still use coco coir as a base organically. I use master blend also, highly recommend.Thank you all for inputs! Master Blend and Fox Farms I'm gonna look at as well. I might try to separate different pots with each of them to distinguish and see how they all go individually to find the best one for my setup.
Cronk Nutrients was something that jumped out at me because they have auto flower ones.
I'm a sucker for new small businesses and always like to give those a chance.
Trying Bonnie/Clyde, Monkey Juice, Bud Grow and CalMag to see how it goes. Wasn't a arm and a leg at all and got discounts off of it.
