I'm torn between a few brands and wanted to inquire if anyone has recommendations/inputs on them or better yet suggestions.

First time home grower so bear with me.

I've got the 70/30 Coco/Perlite brands down to either Fox Farms Cultivation Nation and Mother Natures 70/30 mix.

Nutrients I've been looking at Advanced Nutrients and Future Harvest but also thought of Fox Farms with the Big Bloom/Grow Big/Tiger Bloom and Bushdoctor Cal Mag combo.

My biggest concern is dilution to get perfect ratios on NPK so trying to find something as close to all in one as I can.

Greatly appreciated on the input and open to any questions, guidance and help!

why not just grow organically? Save you’re self the money and time.
What would be the pros/cons to organic vs coco? Isn't organic more so having to mix/make the super soil combination vs using the nutrients throughout the various stages?

As a gee-whiz, I am using fabric pots with auto waterers figured coco would be the better way to go with those especially since I'm doing indoor.

I don't know what kind of scale you're running, but you can save a ton of money on nutes by skipping the bottles and going with something dry. I've been running Jack's 3-2-1 in 100% coco for a couple years, and have been pleased with the results. All of the synthetic nute lines will work, and if you pick up a copy of Hydrobuddy, you can usually replicate or at least approximate one line's elemental ratios using another line.

You can still use coco coir as a base organically. It’s likely you’ll get even more explosive growth compared to strictly peat based. Even mixing the two. Like a 2/3 peat 1/3 coco coir. All that nutrient this week then the next is trig bro.

I buy bricks for coco. I used to use Green Texan for my shrooms but can't find them on Amazon any more. Then I switched to Coco Tech because it was $10/ brick then they quit selling. Next Coco Bliss (it's my #2) with Back to the Roots my #1 now.

BTR coco has always given me more than the 10lbs they list. Other brands are either at 10lbs or less. Mother earth has always had too much sand in it (haven't tried them in a couple years). I always wash, but don't bother buffering any more. My plant's never had any issues without buffering.

If you get bricks, get a large bin and break it apart with a screw driver in the tub. Go along the grain and it shreds easily. Stab and pry.

Nutes, I used to use Mega Crop 1 part, but my last three bags had rock hard clumps that needed a hammer to break up. Switched to Jacks using Peat_Phreaks 1.25:1 ratio of A and CalNit (no epsom) and worked out great. Switched to Envy which is just like Jacks with less Mg and S so I have to add about .32g of Epsom to each g of Envy to make it almost exact. I run it at 1.33:1 of A and 15.5 CalNit and .2g of Sweet Candy. Last 2 weeks of flower I drop the N 1/3 and increase the SC to .5.

There's the KISS using Maxibloom only as a 1 part. Never tried it myself but considered before switching to Jacks/Envy.

Having great results with Envy so far, but Jack's was just as good. Envy is way cheaper than Jacks in the small bag. If you get the big bag then Envy and Jacks are equal. I liked not having to deal with epsom using Jacks as it saved me 126 seconds of not having to weigh the third nute, lol.

I grow in coco hempy buckets with hydroton in the res.

Canna coco is a good brand for coco I hear. fox farm nutrients is good. If you follow their feed charts usually the measurements are in tsb at first for when mixing up a gallon when plants are small then it measures in tbsp. when plants are bigger and need 3 gallons made up to feed them all. So id say it’s not to hard to dilute

I honestly don't think it matters. Which ever brand you choose soak it in a high ece water using calmag. This will condition the caution exchange sites with calcium. Rinse well which will help remove any salt and you're good to go.

I use straight coco coir these days, no additives.

Envy looks like Master Blend for more $.

Master Blend is easy to use, a 3 part nute combo in powdered form so you're not paying for water. Pennies per gallon and extremely versatile. From herbs to tomatoes in coco or soil it works great.

Thank you all for inputs! Master Blend and Fox Farms I'm gonna look at as well. I might try to separate different pots with each of them to distinguish and see how they all go individually to find the best one for my setup.

Cronk Nutrients was something that jumped out at me because they have auto flower ones.

I'm a sucker for new small businesses and always like to give those a chance.

Trying Bonnie/Clyde, Monkey Juice, Bud Grow and CalMag to see how it goes. Wasn't a arm and a leg at all and got discounts off of it.

Just FYI on the Master Blend. I make a concentrate using 76.8 grams of MB, 76.8 of calcium and 38.4 of epsom salt per gallon each. I use old pool chlorine bottles then use quart coffee creamer bottles to dispense.

MB needs to be mixed by using MB first, epsom 2nd and calcium last, always in that order.

For herbs I use 2 ounces of MB and 2oz epsom, no calcium. Cannabis week 2-3 2oz of all three in a gallon of water. Weeks 3-5 three ounces of all three and 5+ weeks until flip 4oz each (half cup) which is full strength. For flip I cut out calcium. I've played with upping the MB at flip but didn't see any difference. Slowly eliminating the calcium by 1 ounce a week might be better than just cutting it out, just a thought.

I have seen a cannabis recipe on the web but never tried it.

I can't beat the price or the results😉

I use Cult Nation, it's a very good product it just can be hard to find sometimes. I end up getting it shipped by amazon. For nutes I use Gen Hydro 6-part + Si, results have been very good and it's incredibly easy to both find and mix up. None of that waiting for solids to dissolve nonsense lol

I suggest Holland secret futureharvest.com, or Gaia green.
The synthetic nutrients are made with clean micro and macronutrients.
Big boom busters, starter packs, but hands dow, I'm a futureharvest.com and I grow in super live organic soil, my newts feed and schedule is half of the label because my soil is Rich.

Im trying that type of grow in 3 of my pots currently. And a hot soil coco potting mix mix in 3 others.

How has the coco only been going for you?

Side bar, I was sad that the Coyotes left AZ to Utah. Been a coyotes fan si xe 96 when they moved to Phoenix. I grew up in Mesa for 16 years. Always be my home!

mother earth 70/30 and jack's 321 is what I like to use, you dont get no bugs/pest with coco, oh and no smells either.
