2nd run I have ever done, inexperienced

Girl Scout autoflower
Mars hydro 3000 set to about 75% 24 inches away
18-6 light schedule
Day time temp around 77
Night time temp around 67
RH around 50%

She has been very slow since the beginning
I had been giving her gen hydro nutrient trio with some call mag about once a week

She is about 4 weeks behind sister plant started at same time

Thought about nutrient lockout so last couple of weeks just water ph around 7

Notice some leaves living green with darker green veins

Looking for recommended action plan going forward. Thank you very much

kinda late now to do anything other than just getting to finish..
firstly is there 2 plants in the same bag?
i see a few things that are off but little late now..
raise the light more, 5-10 inches..
whats your feeding amounts per gallon?

Thanks for taking my question, no that is just one plant from different angles.
Would dimming light down be the same as raising light?
And I am following the basic nutrient trio, I will get back to you on the amounts.
What are the things that you are seeing that are off from first glance?

what medium are you growing in?
ok, well you’ll get to the finish with these..
firstly my guess is autoflowers are finicky plants and for a beginner you should start with photo period feminized seeds..
from what i can see is most of your issues begin with your watering habits, and incorrect feeding..
but don’t worry about it now, less is more at this point.. you did a descent job so far..
here’s a chart to have around, even print it out and keep in your grow area, the more you grow etc the easier it is to understand, it’s simple..

I am growing in a happy frog, roots organic and perlite combination. And yes they are autos. I’ll have to give the photos a shot. Thank you for the chart and advice that chart is helpful. Anything else you have that is helpful for beginners or any grower please send my way. Appreciate you!

that looks pretty dry, whats your watering like? ammount, often, source? how big are those clothies?

5 gallon pots, and I usually feel the soil and use a wet dry meter to tell me when to water. I’d say quarter gallon each until there is a little runoff. I use spring water ph around 7

5 gallon bags will take like 3000 ml or 3/4 of a gallon..

Yea I mean I feel it a few inches down and put my meter in and if it still feels moist I hold off. Does the light green leaves signal an underwatering isssue you think?

Im no expert.
You should get a lower ph. What means around 7? 7.5 would be to much for soil.
Last couple of weeks only water. Weeks? Maybe she needs food again.

Maybe you can find some help on one of this sites.

no, could be a few things..least not in your situation..
have to see..
post a pic?

how often is the key, the look dry. If your moisture meter is a cheap one with a stabby probe that test conductivity while producing consistent results there are too many variables for them to be accurate. How heavy are your pots? How deep is the dry on the good ol finger test? For me plants like should be getting watered at least every second day.

Moisture meters with probes for the soil from the box stores are unreliable. They can be miss leading and cause excess watering or underwatering. Gnick55 hit it right saying 3000 liters per 5 gallons of soil every 2 to 4 days. IF you use less your plants are probably under-watered.

Okay I will work on the watering schedule, thank you all for the advice!!
With soil every watering you want at least 10% runoff. Proper wet dry cycle is crucial in soil or you’ll head for lock out. pH is the thing that’ll mess everything up and lead you down rabbit hole you never thought you’d go down. Get the pH and soil pH in check and you’ll be good. If you want to grow autos, humboldt seed company has really stable auto lines.
Good luck
