Before I begin, I'd just like to say I may have already partaken this morning, so if this is just stupid or silly tell me πŸ˜† but i always hear about white paint or mylar for refecting light, and how red spectrum is good for flowering. So wouldn't it be more effective to paint walls in flowering room red, likewise veg rooms blue?

Its silly, The 2 colors will not reflect the lights in the room.

Reflecting white reflects light in the entire spectrum, even those the plant doesnt need or use, hence blurple led grow lights being a thing... So wouldnt focusing the reflected light to the proper spectrum be more effective for lower/side growth? 🀷 idk seems scientificly sensible enough to wonder. I mean any way to gain a little cheap/free efficiency is a good thing and it cant hurt to explore :)

You know what bro... you might be on to something... I think you should paint your walls red and blue immediately and document ALL of your findings here....and before you do... send me a sack of whatever youre smoking on today.

The red and blue, because they are a base colour, will actually absorb spectrum and not spread your light very well at all (think dark walls in a theatre) may look bright or "red/blue" but really you'd be doing a disservice. Mylar is good or the dull side of tinfoil in a beggars pinch. and nothing wrong with trying to find new ways but unfortunately this one is a miss.

Ok makes sense. We can let this post fade into the abyss now :p
