Sometimes a plant will stop growing variegated. If you clone from that area of the plant you can lose the variegation. For better or for worse.....that's up to you

Okay, that confirms a theory I had. The maui has gotten progressively better as i have had it. I noticed that when i cut vegetation without variegation.. it wouldn't show, or would show alot less in the clones. Now my maui shows very little if any AND they grow healthier. More blades on the leaves, better weight, frostier. Although weight and appearance could be my skill improving or something else, the blades for sure are a sign of healthier plant. I guess i will pay attention next time i take clones and try to not take variegated vegetation. Im interested to document trying to get rid of it thru cloning healthiest parts.

Just remembered my maui does weird leaf curl.... and sometimes the lower branches will start reveging when they have been in veg the whole time. Never knew why it grew so funky, but its gotten progressively better for sure. Getting 9-11 leafs off the tops right now super green no varigation or funky leafs.

Greenhouse is coming along real nice. Lots of swell. A touch of mites I think. Left the door open so they could get the cold from outside to slow them down. Probably spray azamax one last time then mighty wash and/or green clean. Idk tho hate spraying those flowers. Maybe cross out the azamax.

Almost done with cleaning up and staking. Nice n early just before stretch finishes is how I like it. Been playing with planting in to these little cups before they go to the 2 gals.

Sounds like the cut I have :/ the Charlotte is not much better. I wonder if it has to do with being bred for cbd....Not caring about plant structure much. She really only shines after she gets real big. I'm going to take clones off a 4-6' mom. Try n beef them up some. It's getting better since I had it for about 6 mos now.
