Welcome to Remos Journal 2012
This year will be my first attempt at gorilla growing.
I have had 3 previous harvests 2010 (indoor organic DWC 4k 20 plants),2009(outdoor organics 5 plants 5 gal pots) and 2006( indoor 1k 5 gal pots.)

I plan to plant in the end of Feb.
lol alot of site work to go. Honestly its not as hard as it looks.
I clear about 10'x10' area per day. Its very therapeutic [Big Grin]
Im going to be using the soil as is and will just supplement it as needed.
The soil actually looks great and I shouldnt need to do much
My grow is in a very remote location so it would be extremely tough to bring in my own soil and other materials.

This is my first time growing in natural soil so its going to be interesting
dealing with the bugs and stuff.

cleared out that huge bush that was blocking some sunlight.
I also evened out the row and added abit more width.
I could have done more but the weather just was too cold and wet.

Seedlings look good its about time to pick out the strongest and focus on them.
Ill keep 4 and change their pots to give their roots a bit more space.

Oh I am feed up with the CFLs and broke down and bought a 1k HPS set up.
One I get it Ill be moving the four largest plants into my closet and using the grow box and CFLs for my cloning.
Finally selected and bought my seeds for this run.

Super Skunk Regular
Blue Mystic Feminized
So thats my selection and I will be saving a male to breed the skunk with both other strains.

The seedlings i am growing was sort of just a test to see if the cfls would veg them
properly.So far they are doing good.
I have them under 24hrs of light and I only used bottled water for the seedlings.
They are growing in 50% organic seedling soil and 50% of soil from my grow area.
Just after the second true leaf I started giving it high N nutes to try fem them.
This is how they are doing so far.

So I build a little ghetto greenhouse for the runts of my litter.
I use an old comforter bag and sliced a few ventilation and drain/watering holes in it.Then just duck taped the whole bag around the pots and I nailed stakes into the ground so the little critters cant get in.
We ar e suppose to have like 2 weeks of really good weather with nights above 45 degrees.So hopefully this ghetto greenhouse works.
I needed to make room for my new light system and germination of the new seeds.

this little runt has been rootbound and neglected for like 3 weeks.
So today i planted it directly into the land using mostly native soil.
lets see how she does

I really shouldn't have any plants in the ground but im so bored waiting for my
real seeds and light equipment to arrive in the mail.
The bag seeds i have been vegging with the CFLs are from really good bud so i'll be
cloning and planting a few as well.

I reinforced the ghetto greenhouse with some wooden poles to keep those dam racoons from smashing it again. I found some weird yellow crusty piss looking stuff all over the greenhouse. It might be deer piss lol i dont know.

brilliant thread, great documentation already.

but something i noticed, you mentioned feeding your girls, man i wouldnt feed that young, i dont feed until they show me they have started to run outta N.

I actually didnt give the much until the 3 node popped up.
I was hoping to make more females by pushing lots of N into them after the 3 node.
Hopefully it worked.Last week I took them off the 24hr light schedule and starting the 16/8. I should see some signs of sexing very soon.
