I usually use green cure against botrytis before buds close up tight but this year I had to use it a good two weeks before harvest. In the good old days we smoked the buds anyway; but we were indestructible then or at least thought we were. I‘m thinking of soaking and gently rinsing the buds in plain water a couple of times at harvest to remove most of the residue. I hope that will be enough not to endanger a smokers health.
Alternatively I could make oil or edibles . But the buds, peyote critical and pineapple chunk smell so delicious it would be a shame.
i would like to hear thoughts from experienced growers. Is my plan sound or should I not smoke these buds?
