Is it ok to keep removing the smaller buds from the main colas?

Is it ok to keep removing the smaller buds from the main colas?

I am really concerned with shocking the Plant

I remove any airy buds that aren’t going to firm up, if I have time.
Removing just a few buds every couple of days using sharp clippers won’t shock them.
