I have a question...I notice you just cut the bottom of the cup out and plant it...what is the purpose of that? Is it to not disturb the roots? Or is there some other reason for that? It obviously works extremely well as your grows look awesome! I love to see and learn new techniques. Some pics from my grow. Sour diesel seedlings are still only outing out 3 finger leaves and are a bit leggy. But who cares. Everything else is moving along nicely. Big bag is still cranking out the fire and I’ve got two in FFOF in flower as well. Stay safe people.
Hey BogartAmungus. I use the rim of the cup as a label/collar that stays with the plant after it is uppotted from the solos. Thank you for the nice compliment and for looking in at my grow.I have a question...I notice you just cut the bottom of the cup out and plant it...what is the purpose of that? Sorry. Forgot I’m supposed to “reply”. See above.Hello there! New guy here and joined this site while searching for info on living soil mostly because I saw this thread and thought it was awesome. Thank you so much for posting your journey and hopefully I can dive in soon. Also such a small world, I did grounds crew at that golf course for a couple of years, beautiful picture
What strain is that in the 2nd and 3rd pictures? Looks awesome! Finally got the first Sour Diesel Veged, copied and in the bag. Hope this strain was worth all the hassles. Definitely finicky even disregarding the fact the first pack of seeds yielded zero sprouts. The clones put out roots in five days. Fastest I’ve ever seen. Dreaming of diesel.
Bogart, thank you. They are “what dreams are made of”. The first is Afghan Peach (further along) and the other is Chocolate Chunk. Both great Indica dominant strains. What strain is that in the 2nd and 3rd pictures? Looks awesome!
