So one of my outdoor plants reveg’d on me last June about mid month. It started snapping out of it about a week to ten days ago and is now going into flowering. There is a lot of heavy growth around the main stems and is where most bud sites are starting. There is a lot of fan leaves covering them and I can’t decide to defoliate or just let it rip on it’s own. I think those main stems are going to turn in to big colas but think those surrounding fan leaves might encourage bud rot. Here is a pic. Defoliate or no?

So 16 days later now and I decided to defoliate this head of lettuce I have been growing. Trying to get more sun and air to those bud sites along main stems. If I can get it across the finish line without rot I’ll be pleased. Bushiest plant I have ever experienced.
Before and after defoliate

I'm about to re-veg all my plants. Do you find they are as good in a re-veg?

The smoke came out good, which surprised me as I was thinking it would only be good for some kind of extraction. The biggest challenge with that plant was preventing bud rot.
