Any info on this? I need to switch one of my hydrofarm mag 1000w to 240. Does this involve changing a cord or changing internal parts?

if you don't have the plug option on the outside of the ballast then you have to open the ballast and find where the 120v wire is wired and swap it out for the 220-240V wire. When you open the bally, you'll see the connection point where the 120V wire is and just search around there and just switch the 120 for 240V wire and cap it all off as it looked before.

That's assuming you have a multi tap ballast which most modern ones are but the oldies may not be depending...
