Heard that this am. Sad indeed for the hockey world. Lost a great player and person.

I got to meet Gordie many years ago at a hockey camp , Pre NHL camp for the rookies ..
He will be remembered as one of the nicest people i ever met , a person that would go out of his way to make you comfortable specially being in a room full of pro's with ego;s and myself wet behind the Ears He took a liking to me as i was from his province of Saskatchewan
