Okay right on man I'll have to I guess go through this entire thread holy shit I found a lot of RKS strains in seed form online I mean I spent I don't know how many days and actually how many years in total research on RKS seeds but I've also found other strain's with the smells that we're all after

Super Skunk bud finished and curing. I've sampled both of these already and keep writing down my experiences. Will give some in depth reviews and smoke reports after I've sampled and tested both skunks multiple times.

I took branches at different days to find the harvest sweet spot. Being able to run in house lab tests really helps dial it in also. I can see what stage produces the highest cannabinoids, then compare that with look, taste, and effect.

Not ready to fully spill the beans yet, but wanted to share this info.

Was at a labor day party last night, so I brought some buds to sample with everybody.

Put them in a ziploc bag, inside a tote bag to travel. On the ride the smell kept creeping and eventually stunk up the whole car.

Brought the tote bag inside, and wherever I went, it absolutely reeked. Smelled through both bags and there was no hiding the smell!

Numerous people of all ages, including some old school heads all sampled the SS. One older guy came up to the circle and said "I smelled the skunk and I had to come over and get some!"

Some very promising looks, smell and taste from the Super Skunk!!

A lot of people claim to have this and I've heard reports about Todd McCormicks skunk is not skunky and sweet or I've been reading where repeatedly when I seen hemi Chebas rks was not skunky also

I personally don't feel like you need to spend a lot of money on seeds or clones but seeds especially

That actually looks like old school flowers You can definitely tell the quality in the photo compared to some of these newer strains you see photos of they look like shit polyhybrid shit

Thanks bro! That pic doesnt do it justice, will take some more later today. Faced an uphill battle this round but they still came out great. It looks, smells and smokes like some old school flower. Really impressed with this one!

In like 1995 or 6 my friends ordered from Home Depot BC roadkill skunk from cannacopia seeds excellent strain
it's too bad it's no longer in existence

Oh yeah You left out one important thing "TASTE"
The hashier the skunk strain is the better it is imo thus also the smoother it is to smoke
I prefer my skunk on the sativa side with that hashy flavor

I could see the Super Skunk being a medicinal strain from the makeup of the cannabinoids, with decent levels of CBG & CBC, plus the terpenes, and the overall effect.

Seems like a lot of us remember the skunk being some of the best flower around, and we all went down that rabbit hole looking for it!

NASTY, ROTTING, ROADKILL SKUNK Burns your nose just smelling it! I sneeze every time I smell it up close. Very powerful sulfur burn skunk funk! The smell stays through the cure and it smells almost identical to the smell from the leaf and stem rubs. Heavy, rank skunk from veg to cure!!

Was going to create a separate post/smoke report, but everybody has been following along in here so might as well keep all the info in one spot.

SUPER SKUNK AND "ROADKILL" SKUNK

THE LONG AWAITED SMOKE REPORT!

I picked up both the Super Skunk & "Roadkill" Skunk clones around the same time earlier this year and ran them both side by side.

I smelled skunk very early on, probably within the first 2 weeks of flowering. By weeks 5-7 it was the absolute description of RKS. The smell was so overpowering and it penetrated the walls, and left a cloud of skunk around the whole area, inside and out. I smelled skunk from 500 ft. away clear as day!!!

Let's start with the Super Skunk



- leaves and plant smell like straight up skunk & cat piss
- plant will smell up the room in veg

It has such a strong skunk smell, one of the loudest smelling plants by far!! It's hard to say for sure since both skunks were growing together with 3 other strains, but I believe the Super Skunk was the heavy stinker. I couldn't smell the other strains unless I touched the plants. Both skunks had a pretty powerful smell just being close to them. If you moved any branches or touched any part of them, you would get a huge whiff of skunk.

Took some branches at different days of harvest for testing and sampling.

Genetics: Super Skunk (Afghan T x Skunk#1)

Breeder: Nevil

Overall: 10 / 10

Bag Appeal: 10/10 giant, stinky, skunky, sticky buds.

Odor: 10/10 Smells like hash and skunk spray! Smells through a ziploc and a tote bag and stinks up the entire room.

Taste: 10/10 Glass bowl tastes like old school hash with some skunk, joint tastes like skunk with some hashy overtones.

Potency: 10/10 Early branch tested @ 20.2%THC, 0.74% CBGa, 1.1% CBCa. The full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes makes this hit like a 30% strain.

Duration: 9.5/10 - 1.5hours. Very intense head high with a slight body buzz.

The taste is pretty damn skunky! Nothing sweet or fruity about it. Musky, hashy, skunky, very potent, to the point where my eyes were almost crossing. I smoke really strong flower but this got me so high. Very heady and the flavor is phenomenal. The taste stays with you. I'd imagine this is a very strong medical strain with lots of benefits. It's still curing now and it seems to get skunkier on the cure.

New glass bowl - first hit tastes like classic hash! VERY STRONG - 1 hit wonder. 2nd hit tastes like hash but with more skunk flavor and smell coming out.

These plants looked done by 7 weeks max, but I went 8 weeks running 1600ppm of CO2, which definitely sped up their lives. I could see it in my other strains also, so I used them as a gauge to tell how far they were along. Plus I was checking the trichromes. Nevil's description
of Super Skunk states +/-48 days so that matches up.

From all of the accounts by Nevil, I would say that this plant matches his description of Super Skunk. The hashy Afghan T with the cross of skunk 1. The RKS is in this strain but it's not straight roadkill. It has every single quality of RKS, other than the "dead skunk" smell. The taste is less dead skunk, more hashy & skunky tasting. I personally don't think it smells like a dead skunk but it does smell like skunk spray!! Even the description of his Super Skunk states it has "more body" than just the skunk by itself.

All around phenomenal strain and grows like a perfect plant. One of the best I've ever grown or smoked!

"Roadkill" Skunk Smoke Report!!



This branch was taken early to test it and sample it. Haven't tested it yet but have sampled it already.

The strong skunk smell is present after the cure when you smell the buds. If you touch it, you will smell it on your fingers for what seems like hours. Extremely potent, thick heavy smoke, absolutely reeks up the room.

Genetics: "Roadkill" Skunk (unknown lineage)

Breeder: ?

Overall: 9.9 / 10 (long flowering is the only downside)

Bag Appeal: 9.5/10 Dark green sticky old school flowers

Odor: 12/10 Smells like nasty, rotting roadkill skunk!! Some very skunky, jet fuel flower, haven't smelled this in about 20 years!

Taste: 10/10 Glass bowl tastes like nasty roadkill skunk spray and fuel! You can taste it on the paper when rolling a joint. The taste is extremely powerful in a joint, stinky, skunky flavor and thick, heavy smoke. Each hit gets more & more skunky!!!

Potency: 10/10 Every hit is super strong and straight to the head. Feels almost hallucinogenic! This flower is still early so very heady.

Duration: 10/10 -2-2.5hours. Extremely Intense and an hour feels like 20 mins.

The smell from the stem/ leaf rubs that I first started smelling is almost identical to the finished buds. I've been pretty confident this was a real skunk the whole time, just from that smell. The smells throughout the grow are skunky and funky. Sometimes I catch a dead animal smell, sometimes it smells like literal shit, and mixed in was this crazy pine skunk stank. But there is always that lingering skunk smell through flowering.

It smells and tastes exactly like the "Skunk Bud" from the late 80s/early 90s that I remember. I don't think it smells as strong as the Super Skunk when growing but I don't know for sure. These 2 skunks growing together, with just a couple of decent sized plants, stunk out the whole area!

It's a different skunk than the Skunk 1 that's in Super Skunk. My best guess is an Afghan Skunk/Landrace/IBL, but I have no clue of the lineage. I can't say for sure that this is the true RKS, but I absolutely would consider this a real roadkill skunk!

WIll need some people to sample these and get some more smoke reports!!!

I know for a fact no one will have this submitted. Everyone’s all onto the next big thing fruity this and that. It’s a number based judging by the audience. So I know it’ll win. If you’re up for sending a tiny bud into BC , Canada , I’ll open it with my 77 year old dad and two older brothers . This test would definitely tell you if it’s the skunk from days gone by.
