Also sorry to be MIA for a while. I had that grow going with the giant 10 gallon beasts inside my 4x4. All was going well at first but those mother plants were left in the pots on my patio for way too long. They were crazy root bound and about half way through flower I was having serious oxygen issues. Even in fabric they kept dropping. I ended up chopping them and rotating new product directly into their spot. I’m actually glad I did cuz now I am using my 4x4 for pheno hunting males. I’m running everything in 1 gallon fabric. I kept all the females in the tent to finish flowering them then I hand selected the two best looking/smelling males and put them outside.

In the flower tent at day 49 we currently have…
Qty 6 - Abomination Skunk (keeper cut I’m breeding)
Qty 1 - TW x NL5 - Authentic Generics (Tallest one back)
Qty 3 - TW x UK Cheese - Jaws Gear
Qty 3 - Chem x Headband
Qty 1 - GMO x 90’s Catpiss (loudest next to Abomination)

So far the best males are the 420guy Trainwreck F5 and also the Jaws Gear TWxUk Cheese F1. I love the frame and stem rub most on this Jaws F1 just would have preferred it to be a higher filial group like an F4 or F5. Still looks the best and has the most similar frame to the Abomination Skunk which is Sativa dominant. This is that TWxCheese and in the second pic it sitting in front of the Abomination mothers…

I love this brother and sorry for the late reply! Sounds like you got some old school landrace and regional varieties there. They are looking very healthy. Have you experienced any red hot skunk, burnt rubber, or Ammonia chem smells off any of those?

Hey Boys , just updating you on my old skunk seeds , guess they are too old . None germinated. Going to ask for a few more . I made a willow tree brew so if she gives me a few more to try , going to go that route with a little sanding of the seeds. On an other note , I asked a grower I met last year that lives a couple hours away a few questions and his responses look promising.

Bummer they didn’t germinate but hopefully you can get them to go on the next try.
So I just got finished chopping everything in my tent. Mostly variations of TrainWreck. Both from Jaws as well as Authentic Genetics. All the TW female flowers smell good however none of them were really impressing me. Solid TW smell with that classic Sativa musky smell however it isn’t the Nose Burn like some TW I have smelled. Same thing with the Chem/Headband it grew beautiful flower that I’m sure will smoke nice however it has a slight berry fruity smell.
However all of this being said the one lone survivor bean that is the GMO skunkmaster Flex crossed with 1990s SD Catpiss… Holly shit this girl absolutely REEKS! No joke it’s almost as loud as the Abomination skunk. Has almost similar smell it’s a heavy ammonia nasty funk that is very high in VSCs. That old school catpiss kicked the gas into overdrive when crossed with the GMO. The flowers are SUPER greasy and dense also. Everything is drying in my chilled rig now I can’t wait to smoke that one! Once I finish trimming I will try to get some good flower shots.
