I'll have to dig up the photos to compare it, but it was either from one of the old seed catalogs, or somewhere buried in all of the posts about Skunk across the forums. 😅 It's quite the rabbit hole so it may take some time to find those again.

Usually there's odd numbered blades on the leaves (5,7,9,11 etc), but this one has 8 due to that very small reverse leaflet. From my understanding that was a signature sign of the old skunk 1.

All of the newer skunk phenos I see lately have broad leaves, but if you look at the old photos like from Madjag Canyon etc. most of the Skunks had a very thin, narrow leaf, sativa dominant structure. This Super Skunk appears to have many of those older traits.

If you read the description of Nevil's Super Skunk, he made it by crossing the 2 best skunk phenotypes together to create a skunk lovers' strain. The Skunk 1 he got from Sam, which back then still had the rks genetics. He crossed that with the Afghan T, which he called the "skunk archetype" and had just as much rks as the skunk 1.

You are talking about that finger standing up ? My Nl5 produce those. They aren’t sativa but the same little leaflet.

Right on, cool to know. Have only seen that on the old skunks. Maybe it's a landrace characteristic? Or closer to that side of genetics?

A bunch of my other strains have the reverse leaflets, but on the Super Skunk it has an extra one making it 8 blades instead of 7. Almost like a mutation. None of my other strains do that.

They are ag seeds supposedly acquired from Nevel. I think someone else chimed in on this thread about the nl5 being associated, he had a huge property.

90’s super skunk. Looks way diff than the sativa pheno above. I’ve got two fems and two males all with the wider leaf

are any of these plants stinkin up the joint ? They should be by now if they are real Stankers 🦨
They stink. Have 5 strains going right now and the skunks are the only ones giving off any smell.

Super Skunk reeks of live skunk spray/piss. Brushing up against it leaves a cloud of smells.

The RK is just starting to grow buds. Can't even touch the plant unless you want to gag.

Some good news, both '79 s1 seeds are female.

Long, thin blades and those type of reverse leaflets seems to be a common trait among the skunks. These leaves are greasy! Plants are still pretty small, but the smell on the leaf & stem rubs is very pronounced and distinctive already. It's a heavy burnt rubber smell. Have only heard about it, can't say that I've smelled that on a plant before. They both have that same smell, the bigger one is much more greasy.

Super Skunk is moving right along. Healthy as can be, showing her full expressions. Starting to stack sites everywhere. Has that classic old school skunk look and representation. Very impressed with this structure. Even after thinning out the middle and taking 24 clones she looks good. Needed to be cleaned up anyways and will get lots of airflow up in there. Mold resistant or not, tis the season, so have to be proactive. Zero signs of pests or diseases. She's ready to rock n roll.

Up close bud porn sites. This is one of her side branches. Prob at least 1ft height difference from the main cola to this one, but still going to throw spears.

Her smell:

Brushing against it and moving it kicks up that piss smell, but up close and on the touch is straight up, full on, fresh skunk spray. Not dead animal, not rotting heavy smells, just live, bright skunk. Burns your nose when you smell it. Right next to it now as I type this and I keep smelling it.

It's the Stinkfoot 🦨

"Roadkill" Skunk flowering. This clone was all kinds of crazy when I got it. Already topped and lots of weird shoots. Got her healthy, stripped it down and took 12 clones. Decided to just flower the original plants I got and start new ones from scratch. Did some lst and tied her down so she grows all focused branches instead of a bunch of jang. It's better, but not ideal. Is what it is at this point, just want to flower these out for smell and taste.

She's filling in now and popping lots of sites. Hard to get an idea of her original structure but it's definitely a lanky sativa growth pattern. Not huge spears like the SS but could be from all the weird growth. She's very healthy and has lots of space for airflow so that's a plus.

Close up leaves: Skunks seem to have a pattern here, these long thin blades and sharp reverse leaflets.

Also heard that the double serrated blades have some skunk background, but other plants as well so not sure how much truth to that. These are the most pronounced, saw blade serrated leaves I've ever seen.

The smell:

It's a raw, nauseating, disgusting smell. Whole face burns from smelling it, like smelling salts or taking a whiff of a gas can, that type of burn. It's the type of smell that sticks with you and lingers. I'm right next to this plant, haven't smelled it in a couple mins, but that burning, stinging sensation is still there. Take another smell, it's that same heavy funk.

When you drive past a dead skunk, windows up, doesn't matter. That smell takes over everything and that's all you can smell for a pretty far distance. I drive past dead skunks about every other day so I'm very familiar with that smell. It can be fresh skunk, or rotting in the sun, decaying dead skunk, straight up nasty.

This is "Uncle Mike's Skunk Bud." This is without a doubt the Stinkfoot, and what everybody that has ever smelled a dead skunk in person, would call a roadkill skunk plant 🦨

Hell yeah! Give me the ABOMINATION!!!! 🔥🤘🔥🤘🔥
It's the abomination brother no doubt about it!! 🤣🦨🤮

The Super Skunk is total skunk spray. It's gross but smells delicious, if that's possible? In love with that plant all around.

The abomination puts those smells to shame tho, she's a real roadkill, dead skunk's ass rotting in the sun, decaying body, skunk spray. It's the long lost stinkfoot.

Will keep updating along the grow and can't wait to give the bag/smoke report. I have a good feeling this smell won't just disappear with the cure.
