not getting any feedback on any of my posts on here, but using this thread to post my grow updates from here on out. so make fun of me, give me advice, tell me a knock knock joke, something.

day 14 in tent
18/6
10 ml fox farm grow big/ gal
4ml cal mag/ gal
.5 ml bio rhizotonic

been phing the water between 5.8 to 6.2 but trying to figure out what they want

getting a little yellowing on a few of the plants dont know if i hit them too hard with nutes too early or if it was from the lights so i bumped them up a few inches.

Are you growing in coir
I ask because of the ph levels plus it looks like coir.
Some look more fed than others
The last pic Looks like they might need feeding
Are they a mix of clones & seeds
You’re gonna have to have a big space when they get older. Fair few plants to look after

yes, in coco all the plants in pots are clones from four different mothers i grew from seed. i did a horrible job in the cloning process and didnt really know what i was doing as it is my first time growing solo so i just started a bunch of plants to make sure i had success haha my plan is to build one more tent this size and use one for flower and one for veg. just got to wait a few weeks and get a light.

the last pic is the second plant from the left in the back and i cant figure out why its looking that way, i did step up the cal mag a little bit, but i thought it was weird because of it only being one plant when i have a few of the same strain from the same mother. but all is well learning as i go, thank you for the response!

welcome to the fam brother,

plants are looking good, other than a couple burnt tips.

there a alot of peeps here who will follow along with you

and help you out once they see this.

all the cool kids hang out @ the captains train wreck

happy growing & g'luck

-peace- 💪💪 👊🎅🎶

thank you much! i was thinking it was either cal mag so i upped it a little and i raised the lights a few inches.

one thing is for sure, two weeks ago these things were in quite a sad state lol i had made a little seedling box with a shitty led light. living in new england it was getting extremely cold in the basement before we started firing off the wood stove. since then controlling temps has been surpisingly way easier than i thought( since my tent is in the basement of said wood stove iwas honestly worried about it getting way too hot down there) but hey luckily they are headed in the right direction.

i've grown mostly strictly from clone in hydro. you would think that clones

from the same mother would all act the same, but they don't all the time.

i used to grow 99 plants @ a time, in exactly the same manner (rockwool

slabs w/ 3 plants ea). no matter what i did i always ended up with 1 or 2 runts.

all in all 1 or 2% ain't bad in the whole scheme of things.

keep her alive and she'll pull around in time

okay weird question though, should you not use one of those runts as a mother? idk if i asked the question right but my thoughts were to put the stunted one in a smaller container and just use it for clones like a bonsai mother type thing, but are you then passing on runt ass genetics?

i know in time ill figure these things out, im one of those people that has to fuck things up a few times to really understand it hah

personally, i would keep one of the strongest for a mother. as for

fucking up; that's the best way to learn. we learn way more from

failure than we do from success. failure is what drives evolution.

every successful grower here all have one thing in common; we've

all spent countless dollars and hours to perfect our craft and

we all still make mistakes...

-peace- 💪 👊 ✌️ 🎅 🎶

I think you have to have enough time growing to be able to determine whether it is the grower, causing it to be a runt or the genetics! I don’t think I’ll live long enough to find the answer! Keep hammering away!

From here on out I’m going to blame strange breezes in the grow room on the ghosts of growers past 🤣

so havent posted in about two weeks because work has been crazy but here is the progression. a couple pics of before a little defol and lst today. with a couple pics of the seedlings for next round in between lol i think i am going to set up the scrog next weekend and spread the plants out and put them in their final positions then maybe flip the lights the week after that depending on how they are looking. if anyone has any advice on that or thinks i should do otherwise let me know please. either way have a great day and thanks to everyone on THCFARMER for helping me get growing!

(Just wanted to roast you a bit 😂)

Watching you post pics of growing cannabis is like watching a train wreck in slow motion, but with more soil and disappointment.
You must have got the seeds from some back alley deal gone wrong. Looks like they're auditioning for little shop of horrors.
You must ascribe to the more is better theory when it comes to nutes. It looks like you drowned those poor plants in some chemical cocktail that would make a hazmat team nervous. The leaves will soon turn more colors than a chameleon at a disco party.
As for pest control, well, let's just say your grow room is likely the hottest nightclub for every insect in a five-mile radius. I bet spider mites throw raves on the leaves, while fungus gnats host their annual family reunion in the soil.
If you waste time continuing trying to harvest this disaster sundae it have all the potency of oregano. People will get more elevated from a cup of chamomile tea than those swamp barnacles you call buds. 😆 🤣 😂
All kidding aside your grow looks great! Keep doing whatever you're doing. It's working. ✌️😎
