I had another seedling that had a propagation issue. I use rock wool blocks, and an Ice seed rooted at the top of the block, making whole plant shoot out and lay over. I planted it in ocean forest dirt, and it shed the seed hull, so it might make it.
Is there a term for a seedling doing this? It happens periodically.

Damping off .... I think your trying to explain .....meaning your over watering also if the light is to far away the seedling will stretch this can be fixed with a stick and a piece of thread - sting .... stand it up attach to stick and will get support ... plants are very resilient you will be surprised at the way they can come back to life...... peAce SoSer
