rockwool

I see ppl talking about rooting in rockwool, and I am wondering if this is the same rockwool that is used to insulate with? I know, newbie question but so many things to learn, so little time

close to it minus the fiberglass and some other shit that holds it together dont use rockwool insulation for cloning though by hydroponic rockwool ud be safer using a paper towel if ur hard up for 12 bucks lol good luck

yea man, that insulation is spun slag. Picture cotton candy made out of the slag floating on the top of molten steel. I'm pretty sure it would not work at all.
