These guys are to be commended for putting this in front of Congress. Don't get your hopes up too high, tho.
I want to see decriminalization. Legalization will follow with a bunch of regulatory bullshit. JUST like we're going through in Colorado.
In any case, it's about time we got over the "Reefer Madness" mentality.

It's probably symbolic as the article acknowledges, but awesome nonetheless.

Symbolic is a helluva lot better than nothing. The Cali vote way back when showed that it's only the slimmest of (voting) majorities that are still in favor of a prohibition on recreational use.

Our day is coming - why not today? :D
(besides the fact that the vote isn't being held today, etc.)
