Root Bound and Down?

Farmers,
I have heard that root bound plants can hermaphrodite themselves in instances... How many of you have trial and error with this? Just transplanted three and the root mass was definitely visible. Is this something that happens a lot? Comments , answers? Thank you. CD

going hermi not so much... some strains more than others though... also other things happen when some strains get root bound; ak-47, for example, will start flowering when root bound; making the keeping of mothers a real pain... other strains can be bonsai'd and root bound for years if you treat em right
