how'd you make out? did you use the grow (7-1-1) again during flower? i've noticed my plants are looking a bit pale/lime green and was planning on adding it into the next tea i brew.maybe, ill have to scope that out for myself.
yeah, there are tons of journals out there with successful grow of 10-10-10 orchid food or tomato food all at the same N-P-K just seems opposite from what I've read, but am completely aware that they still need at least some N in flower to properly photosynthesis. ill just have to follow the chart and go from there! I mean I did veg longer then the chart, but just kept up the 1 heaping tablespoon of grow per week (5-7 days apart and brewed overnight) and they've been amazing so far so im confident they'll pull through to harvest unless I panic and do something stupid
cool, sounds like you're on the right path. getting a little nervous over here as it's my first grow, but i will say that the last tea i made of charge, bloom, and bloom booster definitely was well received by the plants. i gave them water today with 1 tsp of epsom salt per gallon and will be hitting them with another tea this later week. gonna follow the later feed schedule and go pretty big with this one and basically follow week 5 bloom feed schedule. thanks for letting me knowyeah, im waiting for my next feeding within the next day or two and I have some grow bubbling up. they don't look more pale per se, but I have been seeing them stretch noticeably
doesn't look too bad, ive too have noticed that they are loving the roots organic!I started with a hot soil so I haven't fed them since going to soil on 1/3 (7 weeks), but over the past week they have really become hungry and showing signs of getting angry. After a few days of research, I have decided to go with the Roots Organic Uprising Dry Mix. To my 8 ladies, I just added 2 tea spoons as a top dressing to each one, then added 9 tea spoons of dry to the 3 gallons of water for a liquid feeding. Hopefully, the liquid feeding will take affect over the next 12-24 hours and the dry be a slow release over the next 1-2 weeks. Week 3 should be my transition week to flower where I have already bought a bag of Roots Organic Dry Bloom. I'm still researching, but a 50/50 mix sounds about right until in full flower. Here are some photos from a couple of hours ago showing the plant's unhappiness. I'll repost some more pics next weekend showing either my success or failure in solving this problem, but I'm feeling confidant that the Roots Organic Uprising Mix is gonna be exactly what they want right now, especially the 5 gorilla glue. They seem to be the most unhappy. The 3 blue caddy do not seem as hungry.View attachment 1093821View attachment 1093823View attachment 1093822View attachment 1093824View attachment 1093826.
just like euphoria i'm doing the terp teas and seem to be getting a solid response from the plants. they're really packing on buds and weight, and i know i underfed them big time as i was afraid i'd kill them with too many nutes when in fact i went too light because i thought the FFOF and HF mix had enough nutes in them which wasn't the case for me, but being my first attempt i could've definitely screwed things up somewhere?I started with a hot soil so I haven't fed them since going to soil on 1/3 (7 weeks), but over the past week they have really become hungry and showing signs of getting angry. got a monster tea brewing right now that'll be given tomorrow- Microbe Charge (2-1-2), Grow (7-1-1), Bloom (3-7-4) and Bloom Booster (0.5-6-18) along with 2 tbsp of unsulphured moloasses ,1 tbsp liquid seaweed. total N-P-K ratio for this feeding will be 12.5-15-25. may add cal mag too at the end which will bump it to 14.5-15-25
I used 3 tea spoons per gallon, and I added 2 tea spoons to each plant as a top dressing.how'd you make out? did you use the grow (7-1-1) again during flower? i've noticed my plants are looking a bit pale/lime green and was planning on adding it into the next tea i brew.
are you using 1 tbsp/gallon?
i hear ya. i noticed most of them are nutrient deficient as opposed to excessive. i went way too light on them early on as i was nervous and it showed. still only going between quarter and half strength though. it's cool as i'm learning a lot. i ran those NPK ratios by one of the more reputable farmers and got the okGoing that strong scares me. It's always easier to add than take away. I hate flushing; I avoid it if possible.
fed them the monster tea brew yesterday and they seem to dig it. they're packing on size, etc. nicely. having a blast on this grow, but cannot wait for my next now that i'm seeing how well the plants respond to the teas. i most definitely went too light on my plants in the beginning and by the time i ordered and received some of the roots products it was too late to utilize them in the correct capacity throughout the entire grow.
