for those who have used or are using, which I am currently using, Roots Organic Terp Tea Grow / Bloom. Im not using anything else from their lineup, JUST TERP TEA GROW/BLOOM as my base nutrient. only other add ons ive been using are Recharge, and Silica.
I am planning on switching to flower soon, and according to their feed charts the first week of bloom gets the bloom nutes, then the following 2 weeks they still get the grow nutes (7-1-1). then back to bloom till the end of the cycle. does this sound right to you guys? I know they need some solid N the first 3 weeks for the stretch, but does this make sense? I just want this to be a successful flower transition for amazing flowers.

again, any advice, thoughts, or constructive criticisms are all welcome!

i noticed that as well. the stretch on my autos stopped and they're flowering nicely now. i just fed them yesterday with the microbe charge (2-1-2) and the bloom (3-7-4) so i'm waiting to see how they respond to that.
the brew i gave them before that had the microbe charge (2-1-2) and the grow (7-1-1) and they seemed to stretch and do well with it. actually did feedings back-to-back then watered heavy.
going forward i'll be adhering to their feed schedule by going with a blend of their bloom (3-7-4) and bloom booster (0.5-6-18), as well as microbe charge (2-1-2) so they'll still be getting a smaller amount of nitrogen throughout the remaining cycle. really wish they'd put up some kind of an auto feed schedule, but so far i'm pleased with how things are coming along

good to hear yours are coming along nicely Harry!
I honestly think its because of the stretch that its calling for the extra N. but 3 feedings of high N in flower? also called for both grow and bloom buses at the same time. maybe im just questioning it because its relatively new to me (Roots Organics). but ill just have to sun with what I have. The uprising grow on there is at (6-1-2) as opposed to the terp tea grow (7-1-1) so im not too worried about it, except in later when it calls for both grow and bloom nutes. Ill have to talk to my buddy who recommended them to me, only issue with that is he is using more of the line than I am. before it was "just get some terp tea grow/ bloom and you'll be good to go" now its" your only using that? go get xxxxx" fucker needs to remember what he's suggesting lol
again im not too worried just wanted to get some other experienced growers thoughts on it

thanks! Lol, yeah i have friends that are the exact same way.

i wanna say that i read something somewhere that one can basically get away with a 10-10-10 fertilizer throughout the entire process, but i'm a newb and have no idea if that'd work?

also, i emailed roots and never got a response, but then i went to their youtube page and asked my question there and within a couple days they replied. so that might be one way to go?

maybe, ill have to scope that out for myself.

yeah, there are tons of journals out there with successful grow of 10-10-10 orchid food or tomato food all at the same N-P-K just seems opposite from what I've read, but am completely aware that they still need at least some N in flower to properly photosynthesis. ill just have to follow the chart and go from there! I mean I did veg longer then the chart, but just kept up the 1 heaping tablespoon of grow per week (5-7 days apart and brewed overnight) and they've been amazing so far so im confident they'll pull through to harvest unless I panic and do something stupid

how'd you make out? did you use the grow (7-1-1) again during flower? i've noticed my plants are looking a bit pale/lime green and was planning on adding it into the next tea i brew.

are you using 1 tbsp/gallon?

cool, sounds like you're on the right path. getting a little nervous over here as it's my first grow, but i will say that the last tea i made of charge, bloom, and bloom booster definitely was well received by the plants. i gave them water today with 1 tsp of epsom salt per gallon and will be hitting them with another tea this later week. gonna follow the later feed schedule and go pretty big with this one and basically follow week 5 bloom feed schedule. thanks for letting me know

I started with a hot soil so I haven't fed them since going to soil on 1/3 (7 weeks), but over the past week they have really become hungry and showing signs of getting angry. After a few days of research, I have decided to go with the Roots Organic Uprising Dry Mix. To my 8 ladies, I just added 2 tea spoons as a top dressing to each one, then added 9 tea spoons of dry to the 3 gallons of water for a liquid feeding. Hopefully, the liquid feeding will take affect over the next 12-24 hours and the dry be a slow release over the next 1-2 weeks. Week 3 should be my transition week to flower where I have already bought a bag of Roots Organic Dry Bloom. I'm still researching, but a 50/50 mix sounds about right until in full flower. Here are some photos from a couple of hours ago showing the plant's unhappiness. I'll repost some more pics next weekend showing either my success or failure in solving this problem, but I'm feeling confidant that the Roots Organic Uprising Mix is gonna be exactly what they want right now, especially the 5 gorilla glue. They seem to be the most unhappy. The 3 blue caddy do not seem as hungry..

doesn't look too bad, ive too have noticed that they are loving the roots organic!
I am personally just following the dry schedule and liquid feeding after bubbling for 12 - 24+ hours. 1 gal of ph'd water for two 3 gal cloth pots about 1-3 days apart, depending on weight. considering I am also only using veg/bloo terp teas, im just doing it KISS style and keeping it as simple as I can, veg where it says tp use it and bloom. its been working so far and they are starting to look great!

just like euphoria i'm doing the terp teas and seem to be getting a solid response from the plants. they're really packing on buds and weight, and i know i underfed them big time as i was afraid i'd kill them with too many nutes when in fact i went too light because i thought the FFOF and HF mix had enough nutes in them which wasn't the case for me, but being my first attempt i could've definitely screwed things up somewhere?
i'm basically following the feed schedule on their website, but am forced to tweak it somewhat as i'm doing all autos on this and my next grow. i just recently added cal mag (not roots) as i was noticing them being deficient so keep that in mind if you're not using it already. i believe aquaman mentioned on here somewhere that while he doesn't grow in organic soil he knows those who do and they've said that organic soils are lacking it.
also, looks like we're the only active farmers that are rocking the roots!

oh yeah forgot to mention that if you have questions to ask them on their youtube page as they'll usually respond within a day or two

got a monster tea brewing right now that'll be given tomorrow- Microbe Charge (2-1-2), Grow (7-1-1), Bloom (3-7-4) and Bloom Booster (0.5-6-18) along with 2 tbsp of unsulphured moloasses ,1 tbsp liquid seaweed. total N-P-K ratio for this feeding will be 12.5-15-25. may add cal mag too at the end which will bump it to 14.5-15-25

Going that strong scares me. It's always easier to add than take away. I hate flushing; I avoid it if possible.

I use the Buddha series (Grow and Bloom) and like it quite a bit. It does seem the Terp Teas have gained more popularity lately though.

The schedule they have there looks fine to me for a bird's eye view but more than anything just make sure to read your plants.

i hear ya. i noticed most of them are nutrient deficient as opposed to excessive. i went way too light on them early on as i was nervous and it showed. still only going between quarter and half strength though. it's cool as i'm learning a lot. i ran those NPK ratios by one of the more reputable farmers and got the ok

fed them the monster tea brew yesterday and they seem to dig it. they're packing on size, etc. nicely. having a blast on this grow, but cannot wait for my next now that i'm seeing how well the plants respond to the teas. i most definitely went too light on my plants in the beginning and by the time i ordered and received some of the roots products it was too late to utilize them in the correct capacity throughout the entire grow.

After a couple of days, my ladies showed signs of being happier. I decided to make some soil. I added 4 gallons of Strawberry Fields with 3 tea spoons of the Roots Organic Uprising added to it to my 8 ladies (basically each plant got a 1/2 gal of hot soil added); moreover, I added another 1/2 teaspoon of the Uprising as a top dressing to each lady. I gave them a though and full watering. I wont be opening the tent again until Thursday or Friday. I'm stoked to see their progress.
