Here is pheno #1 (fire)...she has a couple weeks less veg than the others, because she wouldn't root the first couple cuts I took. Also, broke off what would have been one of the two main colas by accident so I don't expect much yeild, but should still get a good idea what kinda smoke she is. I think she looks alot like the Fire veg pics I've seen...fingers crossed as I don't have an OG in the stable...

I'm second guessing myself about these being tied down, will I still get big colas? Shall I untie? I do have the headroom to let her go, I just wanted to even the canopy somewhat....but I can prop up my other plants as well.

you wont get the large vertical colas youre looking for but when tied down the secondary branches will grow up creating a bunch of midsized nugs that would have made up the cola vertically. 6 on half dozen the other, will just look different and the tied down will allow more light to be spread thru out.

Tell me friend, why didn't you bend the two colas into "Y" then "T" shapes?
I think now it's too late for that, but next grows consider trying this procedure.
After fimming of course.
My SCH looks very good using this method.

I did that, and to compensate for the height of the plant and distance from the light source, I just raised it enough so the "T" shape will be as close to the light as it would if it was a normal grow.

Mainly cuz I don't know how lol! I admit this topping early then spread em hasn't worked out for me, I did a nice LST on my last round that I'm gonna go back to...gave more tops than I even wanted. But I do appreciate the tip I will look into it for next round bro...

Brother, you must do at least some bending.

You have two main colas up up above all else.
Since you don't want to burn these, you'll put the light in appropriate distance from them, right?

But what about all the lower branches..
They will be significantly farther away from the source.

Investigate further on bending, for your own yield..
