Plants looking good. Only a couple of the mains ready for LST. I imagine in a week the mainlines will emerge. Love the leaves on the haze and the critical is quite bushy.

Mainline training has begun - not everyone is big enough yet, but some were.

Updated Photos. I am in the middle of week 3 of flower. They are soooooo pretty. 😁 ☕🍩

From top left - Royal Purple - Watermelon - OG Kush - Sherbet Queen. The Sherbet is the tallest at 29" from soil. Funny, she is a week or two behind the purple and watermelon. 3 of these should stop at 2.5 feet tall. The OG should get 3 feet. According to the RQS data sheet. I am sure this can vary, I hope not too much taller, I am running out of room LMAO.

I will NOT do 4 plants again! LOL. I trim and I trim and I still cannot get light to the lower levels. This was a LOT of work for my 1st grow. 😁

I am not sure what this all will yield but there are a lot of buds in there. 👍👍😁

Mainlines emerging.

Initial training complete - will have them wired down be weekend. Waited a little too long, but only broke two stalks. A little electrical tape and we will see.

I broke one of mine when I did my 1st training. I snipped it and put it in water. It started growing roots and is now in soil. I have another plant if it survives. She looked much better in the water, but with roots she was getting yellow. In the soil she is not yellowing but wilting. I do not think the roots were big or strong enough for soil yet. Time will tell.
🤞

Then on 2nd thinning.... I accidentally snipped off a bud stem. A thin one but still.... UG! It too is in water waiting for roots. This will be interesting to see this one go back to veg state. If it survives.

I give them a break and do it a few hours before dark - also lower the lights a bit. There are no nutes in the soil either.

Germination Phase
coco pellets
distilled water

I tend to germinate directly in the coco pellets and keep them on top of a perlite bed in a container to control humidity with a heater pad set to 76 and an LED light set on 209 ppfm cycling 18-6.

All look like they’re coming up.
I bought 7 seeds from RQ

I bought seven seeds from Royal queens and not one of them germinated, I used unbleached paper towels and distilled water still nothing happened still waiting to hear back from them been over 3 weeks now!

Lots of trimming and training!

Not grooving on the clips. Pulled them off, and wired. Have a few broken mains - cheap undersized clips from China. But things are looking good - seeing if I can’t clone the broken bits but am doubtful. Need to add a few others to get them to clone so I can sex them. Stay tuned.

Getting ready to top again, then let them stretch a bit before picking some momma’s. In a few weeks, this will be a dedicated bloom tent but I am still working out some of the HVAC issues. The AC and tent are externally vented, and there’s a fresh air intake now incorporating outside air temp but I’m not where I want to be yet. But everything is looking good so far. One thing I have learned this year is that AC infinity is overrated and overpriced. I understand and respect their engineering, but having a background in systems engineering/control and distributed systems, I think I can do better for my needs with trollmaster or similar and some home assistant integration. Love to hear what others are doing.
