So I've currently just started week 5 of flower, growing in coco and my ec keeps spiking and I've no idea why my buds also seem to have stopped getting any bigger, the problem started about a week and half ago, I was feeding them an ec of 1.4 and my run off got as high as 2.8 so I gave them a flush and it's started again rose to 2.8, I'm feeding shogun nutrients and they ate getting 2 good feedings a day until there is like 50% run off, does anybody have any ideas what could be going on because other than flush again I'm at a loss as to what to do 🤷‍♂️ any advice wud be greatly appreciated

Is there a reason your doubling up on the nutes/watering per day? If they dry out (I’m guessing) ,maybe try bigger pots.

Because I'm growing in coco I thought I had to feed multiple times a day until run off

The leafs are way dark back off on the feed; there has more than likely been a buildup in the meduim.

or the ec going in is too high
The ec going in was 1.6 when the problems first started but since I flushed them it's been 1.4, what wud you suggest doing from here ? Just lower the ec and see if my run off starts to come down ?

or you could lower it until runoff comes out at what you want.

Thing is I did that a week ago and got the run off to where I wanted it and it's just started shooting straight back up and now I'm back in the same position I was a week ago 🤷‍♂️ I'm feeding them once as soon as my lights come on and then again an hour before my lights go out and I gey a good amount of runoff each time, am I doing anything wrong there that cud be contributing to the problem do you think bud ?

by the look of it they dont seem to mind what youre doing. so if ur ec just keeps rising keep doing what ur doing too controll it. then stop feeding all together on the last week or so. thats the only thing i can think of or just water until it stops rising

Nah, feed then wait until it dries, then feed its no need to feed more than that, the plant isn’t gonna eat the food from the initial feed by the time u feed again and eventually u will burn your plants so explaining 1.4+1.4=2.8
So by your logic if 1.4 is your target and u had to feed twice a day u would feed 0.7 each time. No I don’t do coco still a soiless mix guy by I knew people who did and they didn’t water too much with it as they said the retention is good

Good luck !
