Runoff PH 7.1 too high?

Whats up everyone,

I recently moved to a 3gal fabric pot for my baby who will be transitioning to veg on Sunday. Since transplanting and adding the new soil, the runoff ph is 7.1 and ppm 462. Ph sat around 6.4 before the new pot and soil.

Can anyone tell me if this is normal and will even back out or if there is something I should be doing different?

I recently lowered the plain water and Neut water to around 5.6ph.

Don’t go that low for water. 6 min imo. But, do you notice any deficiencies? Stress? If not, no hurry, just gradually change it by watering at 6 pH.

I’d say it’s normal to have your pH and ppm change when you move to new soil. Not necessarily always a jump up as it really depends on the soil.
