Thanks Again NaturalTherapy for helping me find these early! :)
Happy to help Ken! Glad you're seeing positive results so far, good luck in the the fight.

Since I got russets I have been adding neem seed meal to my soil- really boosts defenses and has kept my garden free of bugs, even fungus gnats. Outdoors is a different ball game of course, good luck out there!

I can't think of a reason why top dressing neem seed meal would hurt anything, though my experience has been to amend at a rate of 1 cup/ 20gallons of soil, so that's all I can really speak about.

Thank you, maybe I will make a tea with it and saturate the plants medium.
My only real concern was the fact that the plants are transitioning to flower so I wanted to be sure.

Does Mighty wash have any effect on Russets ? I know you would need a shit tone of it , but it seems too decimate regular spider mites .

best wishes through all this man , keep your head up and stay medicated !

I read through this whole thread and can't say I've ever seen so much stress outta CGK. Glad you're pulling through I know it's means a lot to you to pull off a good harvest, as it means to all of us. It looks to me like your plants are doing much better and you'll get a decent amount of good herb. Either way I'm praying for you, your plants, your situation, and your wife for putting up with you through all this, she must be worried for you too homie. Stay cool and keep up with the positive vibes we're sending from down the hills. I'm glad you posted all this info. I'm not in a way where I have the dread mites but now I'll know what course to take. In fact, thanks to all who gave good input. ;)

We came up together like sprouts you popped up on these boards around the same time I did and we've been growing together (both in the figurative and literal sense). I enjoy your success and feel your pain dog! Besides that you're as cool as an ice cube ken.

have you tried essentria supposed to work on broad mites and safe around pets. I wonder if it works on russet mites , it smells like black liquorice and peppermint.
I use essentria ic3, it's good stuff. I never mention it cause it's doesn't specify whether it's for spraying on plants but it works on spider mites, thrips and other bad pests. It doesn't kill eggs though, but it can be sprayed daily if needed. I mix it with safer BT for the caterpillars but essentria also kills army worms and bud worms. Another thing is that it's like $30 for a big bottle that will last for minute. It does have to actually get on the pest like insecticidal soap. I highly recommend it for it's safe and semi-organic qualities.
