Hi there,

I'm back with my first grow in 4 years 😜 and already running into some issues again the moment my Autos started to flower...

I've seen the first few pistils 5 weeks ago, continued with grow nutrient until 3 weeks ago & then switched to bloom... the moment I did, my plants were starting to show signs of slow rusting & yellowing... not sure.

i been careful with watering. Grow room has been consistent with temps and humidity.

i have been giving full strength bloom nutes with half dosage cal/mag and ph adjusted to 6.2-6.4 for each watering...

Mango kush is doing better than the white widow, but always end up with rust when i flower.

Still waiting for a reply please. They seem to be yellowing pretty hard at this point. I have been giving them recommended Bloom nutrients. 🫣

That is a mix of sunshine #4 with about 30% extra perlite added with some lime and a little bit of worm castings.
than next grow need to be using ph stuff,..
what light you got and how close to tops?

I always adjust the water after nutes to 6.2-6.4... I did a slurry sample at it tested at 7.0 EVEN after stirring and letting it sit for 30 minutes... I believe the lime is buffering it? 🤔
I got a Viperspectra P1000 (100w) for that little 2x2 grow tent, that's definitely an issue as the autos kept stretching and stretching and I scroged them to stay atleast 12" below light, tho some still sprouted beyond that... it wasn't suppose to be a flowering tent tho because i have other plans with my 2 4x4 tents i just left them there and managed best i could... they did fine until they started flowering hard, then rust spots and now yellowing started.

Here pics of the leafs... i do notice the ones above canopy definitely being more rustier... light stress, but not really airy buds...

And here is my 4x4 tent. Only starting to veg slowly now but hopefully this one will work out better- atleast i can keep the canopy a couple feet away... it usually all goes well until about mid flower and then my plants start to yellow/sometimes rust & show sign of stress.

I did a flush since it needed a good watering now anyways...

This is what my run off shows for PH and PPM 🤔

Phosporus degiciency because PH too high? 🫣 despite adjusting to 6.2-6.4PH it still reads 6.8PH after all this time... maybe water should have been adjusted more to 5.5-6.0 to lower it more for sunshine #4? Not sure as I've only had a few grows under my belt and this is the first one in years. Right back into problems lol!

My nute intake PPM was ~1000ppm everytime during flower...

Been using sunshine mix #4 for six grows now and even reused it in our garden. Plenty of tomatoes, watermelon, corn and cucumber from used soil. I would question the lime and light intensity.

Thank you!

Do you adjust PH of water going in? And you feed with every watering?

I don't ph and my tap water I check every few times a year is 6.5 and hard. I use dr. Earth dry addements every 21 days no later then 28 days. Same as

I am running off well water so my PH out of the Tap is 7.5... 😬 So I did adjust down to 6.2-6.4 with every watering, but my run off still measured 6.8 🤔

My seedlings are in the same sunshine #4 than my other plants and they needed some water in their solo cups... to experiment I dropped PH of tap water to 5.5 and watered until run off... measured 6.7 on those... maybe i will just have to water at a consistent 5.8 throughout a grow and see what happens? Might be able to drop ph of medium that way... but yes, having lights this close is definitely not ideal.

This next 4x4 tent will be a better 'test' hopefully they not the same thing happens.

What are you growing in?

Maybe I'll give it a whirl by just adding nutes & ignore PH 🫣 I only give my seedlings straight tap water without any nutes until established & they seem to be doing great!

i grow with pro mix bx,.

Since I flushed those 2 plants on Monday (5 days ago) they don't look like they gotten any 'worse' really- not sure how much longer I should give them to keep flowering as they are starting to look pretty ripe, just waiting on those few Amber Trichomes...

Maybe one more nute feed watering before harvest?

Nice okay I actually have some ProMix HP... do you add extra perlite to yours or straight as it comes out of the bag?
hp has more than enough perlite that’s why i use bx its the exact same but with less perlite,. anyhoo just means your watering more often with the hp than the bx,. otherwise its the same,.
