Safe To Bomb For Fleas If Plants Are Tented?

I have my plants in a 2*4*6 tent, my dogs have fleas.

I had a wild idea i will toss out there for people to shoot me down in flames or confirm its a good idea.

I kept Pet birds more than 30 years.

Caged birds get mites and lice and I hung a bird protector on the outside of the cave.

If memory serves it has .5 ounce pyrethrum (extracted fron some kinda of flowers).

My idea was to lie on the floor in tge midst of my plants and let tge scent drive the pests away without putting anything on tge plants. Just put a sheet around tge plants.
