San Fernando OG Kush Grow

Howzit everyone ?

I must apologize in advance. I've been a lurker here for awhile but I started the same journal on a different site. Lets just say I won't be goin there anymore. I won't get into specifics but those members are not helpful.

Please feel free to post any insight, advice, or friendly criticism. I'm a legal prop 215 patient here in California and this is my first grow so I'm all ears.

Anyhow, here we go:

Strain: San Fernando Valley OG Kush (clone)
Soil: FoxFarm Ocean Forest w/ perlite base
Light: 400watt MH
Nutrients: Natures Big Bud (local company) and molasses
Grow Rm: About 7' long, 4' wide and about 8' tall (its a closet - to lazy to measure)

I'll post the pics from the first day I planted her and so on. I'm 12 days into flower so its been a little while.

Anyone know why the co-op clip their clone's leaves that way ? Tissue issue ? Clone process?

About two days later, my cat Purreli, was able to get inside the grow room. It has since been "Purelli-proofed" and have had no more incidents.

I was scared shitless there for awhile, I thought my plant was a goner. Its amazin what a little TLC will do

At this point, the plant was growing like 3 inches a day...unreal

Went from 16/8 light cycle to a no-dark period 12/12 cycle. Approx 2 month veg

So I would love to hear anyone's insight. From what I can understand and I've researched, this strain may be into flower for about 70 days ?

If anyone knows for sure, I've been trying to find info on the SFV Kush but I assume the same principles apply to this strain as OG Kush itself.

I'll post pics up of day 12 of flower. The photos are crappy sorry, but I wanted to make a journal that was at least photo-informative for future growers.

Nice little grow u got there man good luck , they cut clones like that so they dont lose alot of moister from the surface of the leave due to transperation. it helps when cloning, i would start checking the trichomes around day 60 with a lopold or magnifiing glass

Thanks for the info. I noticed all their clones that way and thought it wasn't anything to worry about. Learn somethin new everyday.

Have you switched to an hps bulb now that your in flowering. It will help alot you plants look healthy nice grow!!!!

Actually I didn't...at this time I can't afford HPS and the MH I have isn't a conversion. :sad0047:

I am extremely determined. More nervous about harvesting and curing at the right time and correctly.

Day 12 into flower

If you notice on the bottom left side of the plant, it looks like snail trails there on the leaves. Lol...its not..I was sprayin molasses onto the other herbs there and got a bit of overspray of sugar water
