For those who are hopeful Cannabis will be rescheduled to Schedule 3

There will be a hearing November 12 2024 to determine if the 20 or so petitioners listed actually have standing to be heard as to any harm rescheduling Cannabis would have on them.

Then there will be the actual hearing December 2nd with those who qualify to present their case as to how rescheduling will cause harm.
This is reported to be a live stream event for the YouTube channel Cannabis Legalization News.
I am very interested in seeing Cannabis not be a Schedule 1 substance.

Sadly it may be that Matt Gaetz may have been granted "Cover" as he quit the Senate just two days before an ethics report was to come out concerning sex-trafficking of a minor across State-Lines and illegal drug usage.
The probability of Gaetz becoming Attorney General of the United States rests with Senate confirmation.
I am listening as I work this morning and last night and the reactions from current Republicans Senators who heard the news for the first time were of the "WTF" category.
Unless Trump can impress upon the Republican Senators that they must do what he says, there is not a great chance Gaetz will get the position.
Gaetz is in favor of legalizing altogether so rescheduling is most likely under his tenure as AG if confirmed by the Senate.

So who will be the AG? Whoever that is they will have the thumb to signal up or down to rescheduling Cannabis to 3.
Also I think there has been some sort of extension as to who can be in the December 2nd hearing.
Personally I believe we will always have weed. The game is, as it is always, about who gets the Benjamins.

So far the Score is : Pam Bondi does what makes her bosses happy it has been said.
That came from the pro-reschedule and the anti-reschedule people.

So not a crusader for rescheduling and was hardcore against opioids in Florida type of AG, Bondi seems like a 51% against to a 49% for, kind of pick, to me.

Still I think Trump remembered her because of the color of her hair most likely.

So Update:

Today was a hearing.
I had to work so I missed the live.
Most likely this is a players game and the Fans are expected to buy the product to support the team but, what team.

I do like this news source.
I also watch videos.
So, it seems like this Judge is a fair player and it is time to say nice things about everyone in this moment and just chill.
Weed is here. The More private and governmental players get in on the profits, state by state, the better it will be.
So, no news except if you want, check out the news. There is a Las Vegas gig going on so a few of the people who have voice in the news will be late to post but there isn't any hurry actually. We have a whole new administration inbound and not signing ethics oaths.
Maybe that means something for reschedule and maybe not.
