Be careful with the nutes, that mix is pre-loaded for 6 months. The NPK is 14-16-18!

I was wondering that myself I was going to half the dosage or even less

Crap yea I have been reading 14-16-18 ....grrr so that ratio seems very high from what I have read npk requirements .

So I mean technically 6 months feed at that ration do they even need nutes at all during the veg phase .

Again sorry for the 20 questions still learning about all the nutrients by far the hardest part to get right imo 😊

They're so cute at that age😉

So it's now Friday, how are the plants?

With autos you want to go very slowly on nutes. Maybe next time cut that soil, using only 20% with a plain soil mix or better yet, just plain soil that you can amend during the grow.

Thanks for help @Phyto seems to be a complete medium to grow in 14-16-18 npk, ratio is not so much higher than the individual npk ratios on the BioBizz bottles when using them all together I would imagine they add up to about the same or a bit less. when you factor in that with for example tomatoes soil must end up higher than 14-16-18

I feed them bottled spring water always so should keep the pH down and no nutes apart from bloom stims during flowering .

Fingers crossed what's worse can happen 🙏 will keep you updated

When a nute package says NPK that's for an adult plant, not a seedling or worse, an auto seedling. Always go very slow with nutes especially on seedlings.

I grow in coco coir with hydro nutes. First 7 days after seed sprout they get nothing but water. Wks 1-3 I give half strength. Wks 4+ full strength. Too much can damage roots and set you back weeks while the plant recovers😉

I would check the PH and PPM's/EC of the water, spring water, depending on the source, can be acidic or alkaline and can have high amounts of dissolved solids.

It really varies which brand I can get hold of but I did just check the manufacturer website of highland spring 6.5 - 7

Little on the higher side so I'll see what I can get to try lower it a bit pH lowering solution.

Was the best option really I did think about altering tap water but our tap water pH is 8.5 - 9 and I would imagine it would need a declorinator or very least sit for 24 hours.

I do keep aquarium fish and snakes so humidity and water pH I do have a bit more experience with.

They seem to be quite happy ill keep a close eye on em and keep you guys updated.

You guys are ace Ty for advice 😁 👍

I don't think I'd try and adjust it if it's 6.5-7.0, you're in a peat based media, which is going to be very acidic to begin with. The seedlings look good, I'd let em ride and then see what happens. If you use tap water, don't sweat dechlorinating, it only lasts a day or so, and really does little or no harm to the microbes (they recover within 24-48 hours).

Hey there,

Pretty new myself. Just finished up an outdoor Auto grow. 7 plants. What i found is that they where very sensitive to nutrients. I was using the Fox Farms trio and i found even at 60 days old i was still using right at half of the amount that the feeding schedule called for. Even at half strength some would still burn.

I started my 1st indoor grow with autos. I ended up losing every single one of them due to a ph issue. At some point my waters ph changed drastically and the amount of PH up i needed for my RO water went from 9 drops to 3 drops. But i did not realize the ph on my water had drastically changed and was using 9 drops like i had before sent them all into lockout as seedlings. So scraped it and now im running photos 12/12 from seed.

I use

This grow i am using a living soil.

I look forward to following along! Hopefully we can learn from each other.

Looking pretty good so far still just giving them water

22 days from germination 🤞
