If you're willing to use Avid, you won't need anything else.
Your top buds will be smaller and the bottom buds will be airy and unsmokable if you don't defoliate.Flipped a few days ago, i dialed back the fert when I mixed my soil this time by about 50% and it's still a bit too hot, still using jobes organic tomato and vegetable fertilizer, didn't have to apply any fertilizer after mixing last time and probably won't this time either.
I won't be defoliating at all since I defoliated heavily and often last time, I'm curious to see if all the extreme defoliating helped or hindered.

It may very well result in more weight but the quality is incomparable. I've tried both ways and I only leave the larf on if I plan on making concentrate out of it, it's unusable otherwise.I've been reading all the posts i can find online comparing defoliating vs not defoliating and it seems like all of them conclude that not defoliating results in more weight on the scale at the end.
Pruning the lower will give more nutrients upwards & outwards to the flowering stage.
