Second grow - trying hydro in coco.

I've set up the second timer. It's working as needed. I got ceramic saucers for under the plants as well. I like the flat bottom, except the 1 gallon bags are less stable without the raised ring on the bottom. I'm looking to go to some 2 gallon grow bags...

Today's pictures. I'll add the next Gen later as they're looking pretty good too!

Here's the Skywalker on day 27 of flower.

Here's the Hella Jelly seedling(left) and the Skywalker clone.
I just moved the Skywalker up to the 1 gallon bag. I think the Hella Jelly managed to get bigger than the Skywalker. I'd had her on full veg nutes compared to the rooting nutes for the Skywalker.
Both are on rooting now to keep the size down a little. I'll be harvesting around the end of January, after which they can get in the big room and go!

I've started the manifold on the 2. Taking the top of each as a clone.

Starting to see some color on the Skywalker buds. It's still 4 or 5 weeks out. We're at week 4 today. She was flipped on Thanksgiving.

I really need to automate my seedling/veg room. Flower can go a few days at this point without any needed work, but I'm still hand feeding the seedlings and clones. They only need 1 or 2 each day, but I'd like to be able to leave it all for a weekend at least without needing a friend or son in law to empty the waste.

This grow is going better than I could have hoped. Big, heavy buds. It's pretty smelly. Very sticky. I'm looking forward to this harvest. With all I've learned with the last 2, I'm hoping everything comes together nicely at the end. Drying has been the difficult part. The last one my humidifier went out, so it was a 4 day dry. It still came out ok. I've replaced the humidifier and have a second ac unit coming. I think I'm getting into the swing of it.
I do have to say, I've got friends growing that just turn it into edibles because it smokes for shit. Mine hasn't been great, but it's definitely smokable. Since edibles don't do anything for me at all, it's pretty important that I can smoke it.

Happy toking everyone!

I bumped up my light a little more. Up to 9 of 10. Checked in on her after a couple hours and the top leaves are curling up at the edge. I turned it back to 8.

got my plants in 2gal fabric pots. They are stable enough, they’ll sit up right by themselves without flopping over as long as things are nice and even. They do get pretty top heavy though, my plants are in peat so the pots get pretty light at times.

been looking at making the change to coco : ) also been checking out full flood hydro bucket systems out. Pro mix is expensive and im getting to the end of all my homemade stuff that was really cheep to make. figure i could drop a few bones once on the hydro setup and be done with it. the idea of Ph’ing annoys me though, guess id just have to suck it up hahahah!

Looking great, dude! nice job

Thanks. It's been a journey.

I like a lot about the 1 gallon bags. And it's not fallen over. It just feels unstable as I'm moving it around to trim and such. As this is my 3rd grow, I'm still settling in to the process. I can go a bit higher in my room, so the 2 gallon might be perfect. Add the stability to get the height.

It's been a few days. Here's a pic of a bud. It looks like they'll be about the size of my forearm. Maybe bigger?

I'm getting old so the flashes go wicker and quicker!
I'm patient enough. I'll keep stocked up so I don't smoke much until it gets some of a cure.

I am seeing some leaves that get a little weird. It seems to be due to the light getting blocked to the middle. Here's a pic with a nice looking leaf and a curled one. Is this clawing?

Today's pictures. We're a little over 5 weeks in flower. 2.5 weeks minimum to go. Probably 3.5.

My Hella Jelly is showing small buds. I'm still at 18/6. Did I get an auto?
