As I'm moving on with my next grow, I've got a Skywalker in coco. I've manifolded this one. It's not perfect, but it's looking pretty good. Weirdly, one of the main lines is small. I've got to push it to the top.

I've also got several extra branches that are extending to the top. I've just moved them to the flower room. They seem big enough, so I want to finish any trimming needed and give them a little recovery time and flip. For a manifold, should I cut out most of these extra branches or leave them in?

Looking to the future, I've ordered a few more seeds. Currently I've got a Skywalker in the flowering room. With another on deck with a Hella Jelly. I'm hoping to do those two after the current Skywalker run. My Hella Jelly seeds produced one plant out of 10 seeds, so I got a credit on that order and just ordered some ghost train haze and some pineapple upside down cake seeds.
If this all works out, I'll have 4 varieties I can rotate through the flower room.

Here's my current grow. I did a lollipop. It's going to flip soon.

Now that I'm at 1 plant in the room, I'm adding some modifications. I picked up a pair of 10 gallon reservoirs. I'm going to cut a hole in the side of the room so I can have my res outside. It'll be in the veg room, under the counter. I think that'll help with whatever was growing in the res and there'll be more room in the room. I have a second. I can use that to swap out when I need to clean. I'm also thinking a res per plant, so if I add a second plant they'll be fed separately.
I can also get my other parts out of the room. The humidifier and dehumidifier can be outside.
Hopefully my work on this thing is done some time.

I'm flipping this Skywalker. She's already almost as tall as this last grow. Thanksgiving day it is. I already moved the light up a little from the top height of the last grow.

The dry has had a nice start. I inspected it last night. No mold. Still pretty wet. Very sticky.

I've also figured out the environmentals. If I use the ac unit to control the humidity instead of temp, I'm getting temp swings of +/-0.7 degrees and humidity of +/-3%. The temp does wander some, so it's really +/-3 degrees over the day. Before the swings were a lot more than that(humidity 40 to 80 to get a 60 average - usually less, but some times that wide). I'm hoping this translates to better dries.

I upgraded the reservoir today. 6 to 10 gallons(5 to 8 really). Plus it's outside the flowering room now. Into a better spot with less direct light. I'll keep adding the hydrogen peroxide for now, but I've run my veg res there and it didn't get nearly as dirty. With the added capacity I'll have to get in to change the waste catch daily, but I shouldn't have to add nutes more than once weekly. And I'm still adding an extra fertigation in the morning as she dries out at night. I might add another pump with a feeding just after lights on feeding.

Damn! The drying is the difficult part in the whole process. My humidifier crapped out and they're already too dry... I've got a couple humidity packs, but not enough. They're sitting at 50 to 54% rh in their jars at the moment. It's smokeable, but I'd like it to taste better. Hopefully the packs help.

After getting a good trim and a few burps, this stuff if starting to smell really nice. I think last harvest I just did not trim these well enough.

That said, this stuff is super leafy! It took at least 2 hours an ounce to get the manicure decent. My next run is looking a bit less leafy, so I'm hoping the manicure will be a bit easier.

Here's the hella jelly. It's still really small. It's maybe 2 inches across.

The Skywalker is showing her sex already. It's a bit of work keeping her spread out and properly foliated. Definitely not as leafy as the last grow. And a lot easier after learning how to deal with the tight branches on that one!
I've got a lot of wire pulling them apart and a couple I've been super cropping. The canopy is nicely even so I'm pretty happy so far.

I'll probably move to Rockwool once I use up my coco.
On the way to full DWC. I’ve been thinking about going there for years but coco is way easier and producing the right results for 6+ years now. Good luck😉

I'm just on my 3rd grow now. Soil then coco. Each has been fairly good. I've got coco for several more plants, and I'm doing one or two at a time. It'll be a while. The Rockwool seems more economical at a couple bucks each. And supposedly even better for the plants. Maybe I'll find out some day.
