Second grow - trying hydro in coco.

I'm seeing a ton of bud sites. Nicely spaced. It's looking like it'll have huge ones! I'm looking forward to a harvest of an actual named strain. My 2 grows went nicely, but this is some good progress.

This one is getting me a bit excited. The Skywalker is looking like it's going to produce!

This last harvest, with the 2 bag seed Indica clones, got me about 5 ounces of bud and 3 or 4 pounds of decently potent butter. Potency of the bud is nice and the flavor is ok - at least it's pretty smooth. The trim time on it was stupid. Like an hour or 2 each ounce. Maybe I'll get faster? It seemed like that strain had a lot of leaf. I'm hoping the Skywalker has less. It doesn't look as leafy.

Anyone have good trimming tips? It's definitely the most pain in the ass part of the whole process...

Fiskers, spring loaded. The more you do it the faster you'll get. It's the part most of us HATE I'm at the point of only removing the large fans and not manicuring until I'm ready to smoke or extract.

Take breaks. I'll load my bong or vape, trim for 10-15 minutes then take a hit. By the time I'm done I'm also Toast

She's looking a little too perfect. I'm adding more nutes. As my CO2 runs a bit high, I'll bring up the light a little more and see if I can get the tips a little yellow/brown.

I'd keep it about where your at already, it's going beautifully. I'd hold off a little before bumping nute rate up. It's always better to go less then more. I do a little two day stress on mine while in resin production then flush back to the medium side of the strains tolerance before any over feeding damage is done.

You could probably bump the light up a little though to match CO2 level. But other than that your plant looks good. I do see a little clawing in a couple spots. My money is on staying where it is. But it's up to you, take my information with a grain of salt lol

The smoke from the harvest is getting better. The curing is going well!

Skywalker pictures! She's really starting to stack. And this isn't even 3 weeks yet!

Lot of fun, huh Nothing like it. It never gets old. I haven't been to a dispensary in 5+ years. I don't care what they're selling

That's the plan. I've cloned the Skywalker and have that and a Hella Jelly seedling. I'll give em a smaller manifold and see how many cola buds I can get in my little room.

Part of the reason I picked these stains was they were labeled high yeild. I had issues getting the Hella Jelly to germinate, but hopefully it makes me a lot of potent ganja!

Dispensary visits are very limited for me lol. Just when I go somewhere and don't want to roll one up or forgot to roll one lol. So it's maybe once every other month for me. And I try to only get strains I'm thinking about running, otherwise why even try something you already know what to expect.

She is packing on some chunk. I have my sherbet cream pie bx3 running in coco, she is @ 15th day of flower. I'm going to start it in to rotation in my main flower room. I have it at a very stable point, and she is stacking beautifully in a small setup in coco, so in my opinion, I finally have something worth keeping at this point to start germing new strains to play with and cross.

She is starting to fall asleep for the day. She is getting sleepy lights out at 6pm. Just hit her with some cal mag today. And adjusted her ppfd. She is drinking 1/2 gallon of water every 24 hours at this point. And she is at the point of increase to just under 3/4 of a gallon within the next week. pH is at 5.7.

I know every fertigation should have run off. My first fertigation of the day never runs off, so I will pop in and run the pump manually a second time each morning.
I'm thinking of adding a second pump and timer so that it can go off just before the lights on. Or just after as I've read it's better to not feed them in the dark.
Does anyone have any advice? My thoughts are that, as I'm running it to have the last feeding right before lights out, I'll just add timing so it doesn't get the last feeding, and the other will be in dark mode, so it would feed at the lights go out, then again when I program, which I figure will be just before lights on. That'll get the lights on feeding its run off. Or I could set it on light and dark and just leave the last light time feeding and have it run once each day just before or after lights on.
Then I'll only have to make sure and empty the waste bin before it overflows.
