Second grow - trying hydro in coco.

I'm using the veg+bloom and life from hydroponics research. I'm at about 450ppm and a 6.0 ph. I'm using the rooting row on the schedule. It's just slightly weaker than the schedule, about 1.5 gallon of water instead of 1.0 gallons. They're looking good so far.

So I've decided that I'll throw a 5 gallon under the plants. So I'm just asking my daughter to check in on the clones as I don't have a camera there yet, and be on standby if I see the soil separating from the pot to feed the flower.

Vacation is going nicely. It's just a foodie day in a nice spot. It's been a day grazing on crepes and tapas and steak.
The plants are doing great. My daughter checked in and the auto drip is working. Just got a few pics and the water usage and right.
They'll be fine until I get back. I really just need to get a camera in there so I can see them.

Nice setup! If you have access to a 3d printer, I've published some water rings you can print and won't have to use the T fittings for your emitters if you prefer. They are sized to drip for a 5g pot. I run 15 seconds at a time, 4x per day with mine. I feed to a 6mm hose tho.

The clones are looking a little ragged today. Looks like the nutes are a little strong, so I've dropped the ppm about 20%. The ph in the res was a little high, so I adjusted that as well.

Here's pics

I've also backed down to 2 feeds a day. They'll be moving into the big room soon.

I'm upgrading some aspects of the room before they go in. As the last one hermied pretty bad, I've sealed it off better. Hopefully no light getting in anymore. I'm thinking about mudding and painting it again. Get the flat white flattened again. I'll fill in the holes and remount all the hooks. I don't think this harvest will need the net as this Indica was very strong. I had to pry the branches apart to get any bushiness at all...

Ok. I had some stuff in the res. Cleaned it out and refreshed the solution. I've put them in the big room now. This should straighten them out!

Looking good! Get some perlite in that coco and keep in mind that the high water level in your reservoir must be lower than your emitters or you will run into siphon issues. I learned this the hard way lol.
Didn't we all haha

This is a sick idea.

Yeah. The scum in the reservoir did a number on them.
I'm popping a couple Skywalker seeds now, so if this batch doesn't take off I'll move to those.

They didnt need more tech, they needed more love

they needed more love
I love them plenty. Just gotta figure out all the kinks in the system. I'm going this route as a way of being able to travel a few days and not have to worry about them too much. Unfortunately I'm not rich enough to not work yet...

I tried some of the sativa. It's close to pulling out of the drying tent. I pulled a lower branch out and rolled a j. It smoked ok. Nothing special. Smooth enough. And I got baked. Once I get her cured up, she should be an easy smoke!
The clones are recovering. 1 looks alright, the second not too bad, but the third is still struggling. I'm hoping it comes around, but it could be just 2 plants this time.
