I tried some of the sativa. It's close to pulling out of the drying tent. I pulled a lower branch out and rolled a j. It smoked ok. Nothing special. Smooth enough. And I got baked. Once I get her cured up, she should be an easy smoke!
The clones are recovering. 1 looks alright, the second not too bad, but the third is still struggling. I'm hoping it comes around, but it could be just 2 plants this time.
Good luck :-).

Yeah. The scum in the reservoir did a number on them.
I'm popping a couple Skywalker seeds now, so if this batch doesn't take off I'll move to those.
I seemed to have a better time with coco when I gave them a little dry back for the first few weeks. Also had to figure out what would go nasty in my res. I started using a power head in the res and it seemed to help some. Hydro guard helps keep things at bay a little too.

Had to clean out the reservoir again - it started to smell a little. I tried to do a much more thorough job this time. I've covered the reservoir to insulate a little and make sure it's not getting light. What all should I be doing to keep it clean?

I think I've figured this out. I did lose one of the clones. She just never recovered.
I am now adding a little hydrogen peroxide to the reservoir. About 3ml of a 3% h2o2 per gallon kills the algae and is ok for the plants.
I'm still at about 550ppm and a 5.8ph with the Veg+Bloom and life nutes. I'll be moving that up a bit soon.

I started adding the veg strength nutrient mix to my reservoir. I added about 2 gallons at that strength to the rooting strength in it now, so it'll be a little gradual. They look like their liking it. The bigger one grew a couple inches in the last day.

Mixed, it's coming out at 900ppm and 5.7ph. Before I added it it was at 1250ppm and 5.1ph. The ph in the reservoir dropped to the 5.7 with that added. It's in range. I'll keep an eye on them and adjust ph if needed.

The top of the one plant is getting intense...

5 days more growth. I think the ph had drifted down. I got that back up and they look pretty good. I'll do at least a few more weeks in veg. I want them quite a bit taller before I'm flowering these.

I think I've found the upper limit for now. A few spots appeared on a couple of the leaves. I'm guessing nutrient burn.

They are really taking off. So far, I'm really liking the coco. A week or 2 more and I should be good to flip. I'll probably top them somewhere in there. Maybe a second topping around flip. This one really stays tight, and from the last harvest was strong enough to stand on its own. I'll have to wire the branches apart to spread them out. I'm hoping I can get at least 3 or 4 ounces each.

I've added a picture of a few buds from my last harvest(different strain).

The drip has been working nicely. I'm currently running 3 seconds on every 6 hours while lights are on. It's about 300ml each feed and I'm getting probably a little more run off than needed, but 2 seconds isn't enough. It should reduce as the plants get bigger anyways and I'll need to adjust.
I did decide 30 percent on the pearlite. There's a hole in the saucers that drains into a bucket below the plants. It's working as needed and I'm pretty happy. I'm even leaving town for 3 days and I think I'll just need someone to drain the waste bucket...
I am a hydro guy, the ability to change out the water at first sign of issue is paramount to me. Nice set up!

Thanks. It's been nice now that it's been running a bit. I have to keep adding the H2O2, but it's only helping so far. Their growing great!

I just dug into the bushy one. It's so tight. You can't tell from the Pic, but it's got 4 tops already. And I haven't topped it yet. It's so tight I couldn't figure out where I need to tie it to spread out out. Just me doing that seems to have spread it out a bit. I'm hoping doing that will help it bush out more.

I'm getting occasional green stuff floating in the waste. It's bright green and floats like an oil. Any ideas on this? The plant seems ok.

Cleaned out the reservoir again. Put in the veg+bloom with life and stax. Ppm was about 1050 before PHing to 6.0, 1188 after.

They seemed to stall. I think they just needed some work. I'm sure I need to open it up more. I've been pruning a little. I added a few wires to get the branches out some. It seemed like that helped a lot.
Today I went in and pruned more and started super cropping the branches to open them up. I think this should help even more. They really need to open up...

There's so much in the foliage!

My circulation pump likes to move around when the fertigation pumps do their thing. Or maybe it just pushes itself around. Anyways, it ended up pointing at my access, which doesn't really close, and emptied itself out.
Cleaned up the mess and refilled the res. 1130ppm/6.1ph.

I think I'll add a longer hose I can run through the handle. That'll hold it in place. No more outspraying.

I've started the lollipop on the plants. Took off several of the lower branches that were no where near the top. Got some of the interior small stuff as well. They'll need some more, but I'll let them rest a few days.

Did a little more cleaning today. These are such bushy girls. I have not topped them, and they have tons of branches growing to the top. It really looks like they've been topped at least twice.
