Second grow - trying hydro in coco.

I switched from trigger to target and I'm getting a better range. Humidity is still like+/-10, but that's a lot better than 30...

So I harvested a few branches a couple weeks before harvest as it had grown unbalanced and fell over. I cut another about a week before harvest. The 2 week early stuff is ok. Did the job. The week early stuff is pretty good. I can't wait until the mature stuff is ready!

So 5 days into dry and I've got to leave for 4 days. I'm not sure how this'll play out. My wife will put them in jars if they seem dry. I'll trim when I get back. Hopefully that's workable.

Here's the Hella Jelly I put in a I pulled out the Skywalker. It seems to be an auto, though that's not what I ordered.

Hopefully trying to hold it back didn't hurt it too much. I'm not expecting more than a couple ounces at this point. I really was not expecting an auto.

Back from my trip. I kept the rh about 67 while I was away. They're about 9 days into dry. No snappy stems. The leaves on it aren't brittle. Also no mold or funny smell. This is looking like a nice dry.
I bought the rh down a few points. I might throw a bit in a paper bag and see if there's any difference in that method. I wanted to do that last grow, but my humidifier died and it dried too fast.

No bagging again. Put them all in jars. Rh is from 56 to 60 throughout the jars. Trimming was about an hour each ounce. Total dried weight is almost 8 ounces at 218 grams.

A friend is selling a bowl trimmer. I borrow it to check it out. They seem kind of useless. They barely trim the bud. They market it for wet trimming, but I'd have to make everything so small there'd be no room to hang all the bud.

I just got done with the first burp and the rh varies from 60 to 63, so I managed to get that about right.

After a 9 day dry and another 11 curing, it's decent enough. Nice bake. It's very light flavor and smooth. I can still taste a little grass, but that's fading. I'm happy. The wife's happy. Life is good.

I am having a small issue. The joints often need to be relit. It's there anything that can help with that? Does it just need more cure?

I'm at a good point I think. 9 days of drying and about 3 weeks on the cure. My RH in the bottles varies from 56 to 60. I'm thinking that's pretty good. Is the 56 a touch on the low side? Would you add any RH packs at these percentages? I do have a bunch of the Bovita 62 packs if needed.

56% rh is good for me as I smoke Joints but if I was planning on pressing my flower i would have the rh at 62%.

I'm usually with the joints too. I was figuring the 56 was at worst fine. It's smoking fine. Thanks for the opinion.

The flavor is starting to get pretty nice. Still light on flavor, but not grassy anymore.

Things are going well enough. My Hella jelly got some low Ph to start out - my ph meter wasn't working and I switched to the Athena notes. It's looking both great and horrible! Lol. The leaves are still pretty brown, but the buds are looking good. I'm not sure now if it is an auto. The preflowers were intense. It's looking like it could be ready in a week or 2, which would be about what the flowering time had listed from when I changed the lights. It's a small plant. I'm hoping I'll get 3 ounces. No clones add they looked really auto...

I've got a Skywalker clone ready to move in. It's crowding my veg room a bit. I'm hoping I can harvest this one shortly and get that in here. I'm guessing a week on the Hella Jelly.

I'm seeing amber on the leaves but not on the buds. They'll get at least a few more days.

Still no amber on the HJ. Day 49 of flower. It should appear soon!

My Skywalker was getting too big for the veg room, so they're sharing the flower room now. HJ about done with flower and the Skywalker just starting out.

I am seeing a little amber at the very top of the top buds. I might harvest this weekend.
I'm thinking I was wrong about it being an auto flower. This will be a little longer than the flower time listed for Hella Jelly. It just had some really strong preflowers.
