Hey everyone! Been a a couple years since I've been on. I am starting my second grow and am just looking for any advice that anyone may give out . I got 5 trainwrecks going , planted in soil at about the beginning of September. Using Fox farms ocean forest , oh my water to 6.0-6.5 , use filtered water . I just gave the plants a feeding , I am still new to using nutrients , but I use a 2 gallon water jug , put 10ml of cal mag , 18ml of fish shit, 1tsp great white premium mycorrhizae, runoff ppm was around 1200, and runoff ph was 5.6 . They are currently in 3.5 gallon sized pots and I plan on putting them into 10gallon pots when I fill the tent out and flip to flower . Just put the trellis netting on today to help bush it out more so I can try to get the plants to fill out the tent . Any advice or tips will be great

I typically grow in coco/perlite but it seems like your nutrient level might be a bit low, not sure if you are getting the correct breakdown of nutrients with just fish shit and worm shit. 10ml for 2 gal of water every feeding seems like alot, I use 2 ml per gal. with coco/perlite.

Your plants look pretty good so they must like what you are doing.

Do not wait until you are ready to flower before transplanting them, I would transplant now.

From my understanding I thought Fox farms ocean forest has a lot of slow release nutrients in it , so that's why I am hesitant on adding a bunch more , but I don't add 10ml Everytime , I was just thinking of giving it 1 heavy feeding . And also what's your reasoning for transplanting now and not waiting ? I was just thinking that when transplanting into a bigger pot and waiting a week to flip to recover from transplanting, that it would have a whole new pot to be able to grow into during the whole flowering stage .

I have always read to transplant and get into your final pot size as soon as you can, after 3-4 sets of branches.Gives the roots time to stretch out before flower.

Wouldn't that be the same thing as me waiting until they finish filling out my tent during veg stage ? That way when it's full enough i transplant it into its final big pot before I flip to flower , that way it has tons of room and time for the roots to stretch out during flower ?

Update, got the girls into their final pots , 10gallon, bought a CO2 tank system the other day , got the CO2 at 1200ppm . Going to do a good defoliation in the next couple days and then flip into flower probably next week . Girls are loving their new pots though!

Update! I flipped these girls into flower on the 27th of November. I think they are looking extremely happy. My vpd is slightly high due to not having a good humidifier, but got the 15liter one from ac infinity on the way and will be able to have that dialed in much much better. Can't wait to see the fruit these girls produce ! Been watering every two days , ph at 6.5 .

Just a video of what under the canopy looks like , I think it's very cool to see something like this , I feel like it shows off all your hard work and the training you have done . I know genetics come into play and each plant is different, but I wanted to train and top each plant a lil different. The first one I topped 5 times , the second one I topped once , I believe and also the 3 Rd one , and the last one I topped 3x . The structure is very pleasing to look at though 😁. When I lollipoped all these I also tried doing a technique called 2 budding and even 4 budding , so I also want to see how that turns out . Just experimenting.

Got my ac infinity t7 humidifier on the way and will be here on the 2nd, can't wait for this as I really needed this to get my humidity up so I can get my vpd dialed in . Definitely will dial in my next grow through it's whole veg cycle , and flower cycle , about to order seeds from In House Genetics, jelly breath s1, sugar cane and ice cream candy . Can't wait !

Running into problems , my feeding schedule is up to date to the best of my abilities at the moment , I didn't write down regular water feedings. But I'll do one regular water then a bite feeding . My pH is 6.5 when watering , I'll do a runoff test today , the only thing that is liquid nutes is the cal mag , terp builder ,and pH down , if that matters. Monster bloom is 0-50-30

My guess was phosphorus or potassium deficiency, but wanted more opinions.

Could be... However, the chlorosis looks like the plant is pulling Nitrogen from the leaves. Your Monster Bloom 0-50-30 without N could be the reason. It looks like you're about 5 or 6 weeks from harvest, so there's still time to add nutrients, but those chlorotic leaves won't recover.

Well I figured the plant honestly had enough nitrogen from the top soil fertilizer I used , stash blend I add I believe has a ratio of 1-3-5, or something like that , numbers could be off on that but I know it has a little nitrogen, and the worm castings has nitrogen,. And since it's in flower I didn't think it needed much nitrogen at all .

Gonna go ahead and raise the lights as well , just in case it's light stress or something.
