I planted a seed outdoor Ina flower pot today which is September 15 2014. I was curious on when should I start adding nutrients???

And how long can I let the plant grow??

Depends on your climate. Id do low 6 ph RO water fer acupple wks or rain water wit a pinch of ebsom n a smidge of bakin soda aft'r acupple inches tall. Wat type o soil ya got'er in. The rain water depends on how clean th air is round ya.
