--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i created a secret room by cutting a walk in closet in half with an actual wall(drywall, paint, etc.) the room is about 7' high, 5'6" long, and 3'5" wide.

There is a dryer duct that runs through the room that leads directly to the outside.

im thinking of using two 400 watt lights, one hps, one mh. I need to use a small inline fan with a carbine filter to keep the air fresh and clean.

here are some paint drawn pics to give you an idea of the set up im planning..

feel free to suggest anything that would be good for this room remember this room needs to be odor free and unnoticable to eyes, ears, and noses.

I like the room divide. various thoughts for lighting: 2x600w (MH/HPS switchable ballast....if you buy the 400s, you will regret it in 6mo. buy the right equip 1st time. digital ballasts can allow switching lamps too 400/600 or 600/750/1000), 1x600w or 1x1000w on a light rail <--either way will save electrical cost and heat load in the room. Digital ballasts also reduce heat load and electrical consumption by @ 20%.

heat will be your biggest pain. consider running the ballast outside the room (above the ceiling or vent?). consider sealed vented hoods running straight through the room, pull air from elsewhere and vent elsewhere (ceiling or vent? still use the carbon filter. look at CanFan combo units that fit your space and the 6"-8" hood vents), this will reduce thermal loads @ 70%.
