I pollinated a plant, is there any difference to a seed that forms at the node vs a seed that forms in the flower? I

Nope. Except terminology. At the node is called a Botanical Pistillate flower whereas those at the buds are called Commercial Pistillate flower. Still a pistillate flower either way and still can produce seeds.I pollinated a plant, is there any difference to a seed that forms at the node vs a seed that forms in the flower? Dr. Bruce has a great paper on the subject. It's what made me send him my Shelley Frankenauto results.Interesting i learned something!
Thanks, that "Shelley Frankenauto" sounds interesting!Dr. Bruce has a great paper on the subject. It's what made me send him my Shelley Frankenauto results.
I'll try another one soon to see if she was just an anomaly or not. https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/t...frankenauto.174302/?post=3396767#post-3396767Thanks, that "Shelley Frankenauto" sounds interesting!
You really can't see the calyx. What you're talking about is the bract. And yes fat bracted girls make the rocking world go round.I had fat calyxes on a vegging plant that got pollinated and I thought that was gonna be something special.... Virgin seeds LOL! Nope, didn't do anything special but they WERE completely viable seeds.
Yeah yeah yeah the calyx is too small to really see.... I'm using the terminology wrong but at the nodes I call em calyxes and in the bud I call em bractsYou really can't see the calyx. What you're talking about is the bract. And yes fat bracted girls make the rocking world go round.
Then I suggest you stay the fuck off of YouTube.Does it really fucking matter
We all know what was ment
Jeeps I feel like I’m watching a YouTube vid were someone gets picked on for their grammar
You can also pollenate those on mother plants in veg their pre flowers and the seeds will fully mature even in veg with out even flowering the plant as long as it gets enough time to mature., about 5 to 6 weeksI pollinated a plant, is there any difference to a seed that forms at the node vs a seed that forms in the flower? That's an interesting concept..... Have you run that? If so what would be your final thoughts? You can also pollenate those on mother plants in veg their pre flowers and the seeds will fully mature even in veg with out even flowering the plant as long as it gets enough time to mature., about 5 to 6 weeks
Just chiming in, I didn't intentionally do it but I had a vegging plant develop seeds. But it wasn't a normal vegging plant, it had been reveged and had spent months in hormone hell not really vegging and not really flowering. The bracts were covered with trichomes. Here's a shot while it was going through the worst of it. It eventually recovered, but it picked up some leftover pollen in the node bracts from a Blackberry Kush male I had removed from the yard a month earlier. (Warning: Pollen lingers!)That's an interesting concept..... Have you run that? If so what would be your final thoughts?
Gotcha, I may give it a try one of these days just for fun.Just chiming in, I didn't intentionally do it but I had a vegging plant develop seeds.
