Oh that's interesting! I kinda see your point . But I have high humidity, here is always high . Like I have to run a dehumidifier to get below 70% and the AC is always about 72. PlayStation never cooked them would be on at times during the day not all the time , off at night basically, I kept them moist. Sitting out they always seemed to get spoiled without the warmth. The room I germinate in is my media room is also my dry cure room. Is like a movie theater room. Like I run a dehumidifier when I harvest .Seems too hot to be viable lol those seeds would cook que no?
I usually put them immediately in dirt and outside in the sun after the get a tail. Last year I did them on St Patty's Day .Outside temps here are already 85° I have free sunlight , but I do have a small grow light.I just throw them in some water. I wait to see them start to split as soon as I see them opening up. I know that the seed is viable then I just go ahead and plant it.
Works pretty damn good.
I’ve always just thought of it as instead of using a paper towel and a heating mat just switch it up with the light that you’re gonna sprout them with anyway because that’s a decent heat source alone now as long as you don’t saturate the dirt that you plant your seedling in and you use a spray bottle in order to water it That keeps the humidity localized around the seed in the dirt and is basically the same thing as using a paper towel and Tupperware and your seed sprout sooner
It’s what I’ve done for a long time and it works great paper towel. Method works great to though. I just tried to think of a way to you know kind of streamline it and it always works.
Unfortunately have the dumb fire stick now , Xbox one died tooSwitxh to xbox or internet router?
I would just elevate your towel soo bottom is wet but towel is in the air where humidity is high but ita not wet keeps the towel wet enough
that works great if you water it not too little not too much....I usually put them immediately in dirt and outside in the sun after the get a tail. Last year I did them on St Patty's Day .Outside temps here are already 85° I have free sunlight , but I do have a small grow light.
That's how i do it after soaking in water overnight, wet papertowels, then into a zip baggy and i breath a puff of warm breath and lock it. Place it into a cuboard above my stove. I like the humidity it creates and check it 2x a day.P.S. a couple of hot breathes before you close the bag
Seedsman and Nirvana the Nirvana are the newest seedsman are older same ones I did last year . Purple ghost candy original glue and LSDTypically I'll see 100% germination in less than 48 hours in the 72-76f range (using a seedling heat mat). I have also had the same results upwards of 80f, but I'm a bit weary going above that. This of course all depends on the quality of the seeds you're starting with.
Oh that's a thought !! I have a place above microwave and stove. Stays pretty warm there . I just worry I'll forget themThat's how i do it after soaking in water overnight, wet papertowels, then into a zip baggy and i breath a puff of warm breath and lock it.
